I guess I can take this thread title to mean you're liking the game Dishonored, Big? I picked up Catherine when you were raving about that last year and it was awesome, I may have to follow your lead again.

In terms of seasoning humidors, this is supposed to be the Holy Grail of how to do it corrrectly...

Step by step with pictures.
Thanks for that. I'll have to see how he seasoned it.

It's really nothing like Catherine...but it is probably the best game I've played this year and the only one that's been able to steal a full day from me.

It combines the best elements from a lot of great games...it's like Thief, Deus Ex, and Bioshock thrown into a blender and taking place in a city designed by the lead art guys from Half-Life 2.

The only 'bad' thing for me is that it is really built on stealth, which I typically don't care for...but it's done in such an interesting fashion that I can't stop playing. From the pre-release stuff I was only mildly interested, but after reading some reviews and watching some clips I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did.

Of course now I have an hour before I go to work and then class to finish an assignment that I was supposed to do yesterday...but whatever.

I also picked up Dishonored and I really love it. The graphics are photo realistic but they are absolutely beautiful. I literally just swam around for 10 minutes admiring the scenery. I think the game is meant to be played with stealth, but you can go around killing people if that's the way you want to play. On my second play through I'll probably do that. That's what really makes the game awesome, you can play it however you want.

Catherine's a great game.

May wait for the price to come down on Dishonored. I don't have $60 right now to shell out.

Need to get some alcohol back in my system. Being unemployed sucks.

Yup.

I actually got good news from Honda who I haven't heard from since early September. Due to my connection with my Dad also working there, I could be put in Weld. It's the best area by far and I would be working robots.

Picked up this beautiful piece today at the local collectible shop. It's a framed and signed photo of Mario celebrating his 500th goal on October 26th 1995.

As you can see in the right hand bottom of the picture only 166 copies of this signed print were made. And mine is number 27 out of 166.

That ESPN 30 for 30 was nuts. Two ridiculously rich Duke and KU alumni bidding for the rules. The director of it was an absolute ****** though.

Those 30 for 30 pieces are outstanding. There really hasn't been one I haven't enjoyed.

Yeah, especially how former professional athletes lose all their money. I couldn't believe how they can lose money so easily.

Bernie Kosar got screwed financially by his own family. Money can change people in bad ways.

anyone know of any current good deals on laptops/notebooks?

i think my lenovo laptop just gave out on me, and i kinda need a laptop/notebook relatively quickly for school.

looking for something real cheap that works, basically for browsing and occasionally writing documents, and watching netflix.

last time i found a lenovo for like $350, basic and did the job. looking for something similar, but i dont see any good deals on slickdeals.net right now. are there better website to look for cheap computer deals?

essentially just want something cheap that does the job, dont care if its unaesthetic/not cool.

Here's a list of some laptops under $500. Some of them might not be available anymore, but I think most of them are still in stock.

On the left hand side, you can edit a bunch of things so you can find your ideal laptop too.

There is something sublimely perfect about driving through Beverly Hills while blaring Godspeed You! Black Emperor.
