Isn't it weird how a person can fluctuate emotionally from day to day? When your brain starts to function to the point where it takes over the reigns from your emotions, it's such a beautiful thing. A person's emotion can cloud and take over a person's actions/judgments and completely shut out using any semblance of insight, intuitiveness and cognitive prowess. It's so freeing when you can sort of take a step out of your body/mind and look at yourself from another angle. It's refreshing to be able to think rather than react when emotions have driven your existence for such a long period of time. I'm still not out of the woods yet, but I can finally start to see the light between the trunks at the edge of the forest.

/end rant that nobody cares about

Am glad your starting to feel better man. I've dealt with depression and anxiety for years so I know how it is.

Cheers.

Sans beard and retaining the mustache...I feel like I missed my calling as a princess-saving plumber.

So much work to do. I need to learn 4 new computer programs for school, yet all I care to do is catch up on wrestling from this week. I should have majored in sports entertainment.

My grandmother died this thursday.

Sucks. Love my grandmother.

Im actually really crushed about it but I don't have the time to be "weak" (sad) nor do I want to allow my self to be sad about it, because you know - That would lead to me being sad, which is really ****ed up that I can't allow my self that. I don't have the time and I really don't want to be sad again.

****ing **** ****.

I just want everything for ONCE to be okay.

@Cap - I'm glad to hear you're starting to see a light, really.

I've been in Modern Canadian Literature for about half a semester. I've reached the conclusion that all Canadian material is based on one of two things - trees and trains.

I feel for you, Antaris. I went through a gut-wrenching end to my grandmother's life less than a year ago. Chin up, my friend.

Hooked up the refrigerator to a water line the other day.

For the first time ever I have a working ice dispenser. It's the ****.

For the last year, I've worked 6 or 7 days a week. Very rarely do I have a minute to sit down.

Today I laid in bed, watched football and a completely full DVR. It was glorious.

Holy ****, it's crazy outside. The storm hasn't even hit land yet and several neighboring towns are completely underwater (my town is a bit higher ground).

This is going to be insane. Mandatory evacuations all around my town, and the power company called and said "expect your power to be out for at least a week."

Still about 6 hours from landfall, and that's what the town over looks like at the moment. You can't really tell, but that's about 3 feet of water.

I haven't done **** to prepare for this storm. I might see what's left at Walmart after my office closes at 3:00 today. It's gonna suck without electricity, but I'm pretty sure I'll survive.
