You know that amazing feeling when you finally have a breakthrough on something you've been working on for weeks?

James Murphy, I could kiss you.

This was my first thought too.

Obituary are awesome. Both "Cause Of Death" and "Slowly We Rot" are essentially classic Death Metal albums IMO.

hey metalhead, the latest episode of Treme featured an eyehategod set. they also talked up goatwhore a few episodes back. the show is pretty egalitarian when it comes to featuring New Orleans music (everything from country to old time RnB, straight ahead jazz to dixieland and some Zydeco and swamp pop) (but there's an egregious dearth of avant-garde jazz, they had Kidd Jordan on the show but didn't have him play!!).

Oh so that episode of Treme with Eyehategod finally aired??? I've been wanting to check it out but I don't think I have the channel. What all happened?? Did they just have like a 10 second cameo where they were playing....or were they actually part of the episode?

As my avatar shows, I love those guys. "Take As Needed For Pain" is not only the best Eyehategod album, but one of if not the definitive Sludge metal album IMO.

I went to grab my coat out of my closet this morning and it was completely covered in mold. I think it's time for a new coat.

I'd go to a dry cleaners first. Then again, if it's a cheap coat, probably not worth the time.

It wasn't really a cheap coat, but it's older and definitely a bit worn down. I'll probably go see if I can find any good deals at a store first.

Kevin Smith just said "sweet 'stache, man" to me.

The 16 year-old version of me just fainted.

eh I wouldn't say excited. I'm interested enough to care about the outcome but won't lose any sleep over it (as I might for a Pens playoff game).

This is exactly what I did when I was sitting in my bed reading and the power came back on.
