I'm excited for it to be over. I was all-in the past few election cycles...but this year it's just annoying me. It's impossible for me to get excited about politics anymore, I'm just too jaded.

That and moving to Los Angeles basically makes my vote worthless. It's hard to get as involved when you know that everyone you're going to vote for is going to win your area by a huge margin. In Montana I felt like I was fighting the good fight...here it's just like 'hey...we're all voting the same way...cool'. I'm more interested in the junior senator and gubernatorial race in Montana than anything around here...and I can't do anything to affect those outcomes.

All I know is Denny Rehberg is worse than 15 Mecha Satans.

I cannot wait for it to be over so there are no more political ads.

I'm a fiscally conservative, socially liberal, pro-gun, anti-war, pro civil liberty, non-interventionalist voter. I try explaining my political views to the people I work with and their heads explode. They cannot seem to understand that I can't align with either candidate.

I'm not excited, as much as I am relieved that it's going to be over. I'm not fond of either candidate, so I'm more looking to how this will impact 2016. On one hand, I would rather Romney win because things would at least have a hope of getting better for me with him in office. On the other, I don't like him, so if Obama wins, hopefully in 2016 Romney goes away and a candidate I can really get behind is able to run.

I work in the post office and it's about 98% Democrat, so all of that **** ending will be good for me. We have 47 people in my office...there are 3 Independents/Republicans. 1 of the Republicans is one of those neo-con's...so he doesn't really count towards the Republican tally, by name only really.

In all honesty, I haven't been paying much attention to this election at all, as I feel that both Romney and Obama have the same overall platform, but just put on different spins.

I'm a non-defense government contractor and I'm under the impression that a Paul Ryan style budget would probably end funding for my job. Cuts to public sector spending would cramp my career style in general. So naturally I'm voting for Barack HUSSEIN "Young Stalin" Obama (who I would vote for anyway if my livelihood didn't seem to depend on it). I'm actually somewhat on edge about the election. If Romney wins and I get laid off I might just leave my life and turn bad.

my vote is statistically insignificant so I'm not voting.

also, I don't like either option.

Well it looks like on this upcoming Tuesday night I'll be catching my first live OHL game.

My fiancee scored two tickets for us at work today. A co-worker of hers who has season tickets to the Kitchener Rangers (our local OHL team) can't go to a game that's scheduled for next Tuesday night so the co-worker sold my fiancee the tickets.

I was so happy when she surprised me with them when she got home. Sure obviously it's not the Pens, but I'll take any hockey I can get now.

Plus well there's the whole romantic aspect of taking my woman to a game/the fact that she'd surprise me with the tickets.

As far as the election, Romney/Ryan would essentially be Bush's 3rd term while Obama/Biden is Obama/Biden 2nd term. I'd rather take my chances with the latter. Romney's likelihood of getting elected seems pretty bleak at this point anyway.

That show kinda went downhill in a hurry after about Season 5. I still routinely watch the old episodes though

I'm sadistically excited for Romney to win the popular vote, but lose the election. The Republicans' tears would be so ironic.

I'll be drinking Tuesday evening either way...

I'm just ready for it to be over. It's times like these that I wonder why I keep a landline. I don't watch a lot of TV, but I've gotten into the habit lately of just DVRing anything I want to watch so I can fast forward through all of the political commercials. I mean, if you're going to go over the top, at least make them entertaining, like this one ...

Working there makes me want to turn the gun on myself...not other people. And now we are all quick to shower each other with gifts and food so if someone ever does go postal, they remember that candy bar you gave them a few months ago, and hopefully spare your life. I know I would.

If you haven't played the Mass Effect trilogy yet, get off your computer/phone and go to your nearest game store right now. It's an absolutely brilliant franchise that should be experienced by everyone.

Does anyone know how to change my settings so I don't time-out on the site? I have no idea if it is a setting in my browser or within the site, but other people mention always stay signed in. I want that as well...

Mass Effect is solid, but it doesn't hold a candle to the old school bioware RPGs like Baldur's Gate

I thought Mass Effect (the whole series) was the greatest game I ever played right up until the last 15 minutes.

They are good games for sure, but nowhere close to the top of my list.
