Haha. I bet there's a study out there somewhere that proves people with certain age and characteristics as far as brain type (analytical vs. not, ADD vs. not, etc) dig this kind of music. Most electronic music is repetitive just not to this degree. The repetitiousness probably appeals to some brains while driving others insane. Also you could definitely make a Blade Runner style amateur pr0n movie with this. Just have to get your girl sauced up a little first and put the shiny robot helmet on her. "No just be quiet; you don't have any lines. You're a robot, remember? Here. Put this on and stop talking."
However I think it's fair to say this is not the kind of music (even if you like it) that you could hit the repeat button on. Your head would asplode.

“The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile, but that it is indifferent. If we can come to terms with this indifference and accept the challenges of life within the boundaries of death, our existence as a species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment. However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.” - Stanley Kubrick
On another random note, I'm kind of bored with my life. I'm almost 26 married and bought a house. I've done all of the American dream things in order and step with what is expected. That makes me feel like a hypocrite because I always felt different than the norm.
On the flip side I am happy with all of those decisions and extremely lucky and blessed to have such a great wife/family etc but just feel like I'm going through the motions with life so to speak.
Basically it just boils down to a lack of passion in my career and not a great idea of where to go from here. Anyway, random rant but I'm always intrigued and amazed at how people arrive at their desired careers, life paths, passions etc. I'm not really motivated by money (but I have a standard of living I need to maintain with my student loan debt) and I change my mind nearly every day on what I'd be motivated by other than the general "make an impact or difference" crap that I tell myself. Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled discussions...
i had long reply typed out, but basically it can be distilled down to something shorter...
i'm your age, and attend a well-regarded med school, with honestly some of the smartest young people in the country whom i am lucky to call classmates. people from very privileged backgrounds that were bred to be great doctors. and a fair number of classmates find themselves to be somewhat unfulfilled. many people that thought they would be happy being a physician are now looking into getting their mba and then work on wallstreet. conversely, i know people at goldman and mckinsey that make 200k+ that are unhappy in the business world with just staring at excel all day, some of whom are applying to med school.
basically my point is that people at our age, even ones that are "successful" in terms of their career arc are oftentimes unfulfilled. i think it's a common problem with people of our generation.
Wanting what you don't have and feeling unfulfilled are part of the human condition
Oh absolutely and I can appreciate that. It's just that the things I want aren't material, they are fulfillment in my career and a drive to get there. My point was just that I can't really figure out what that is and it gets at me sometimes. I see and hear about other people doing this and that and think "how do they know what they want to do, what drives them, etc".
What do you guys think? i think it's pretty inspirational. BTW about the ignore relationships thing, he meant throw out everyone who holds you back, stick with people who don't hold you back (he broke up with a gf of 3 years 2 years ago because of different goals, they were not on the same page).

It's awesome. Gotta stack that paper if you really want freedom.
I was flipping through the channels earlier in my dorm and got caught up watching the conclusion of a car chase on Fox News. They failed to sufficiently tape delay and gave viewers the pleasure of an unedited feed of a more than likely mentally ill man shooting himself in the head.
My major is broadcast journalism, but this has really stuck with me.
Edit: I can't even imagine how viewers felt about Robert Budd Dwyer. I should probably grow up.

Ogre: Psy is Korea's biggest harem owner. He is also the greatest inspiration for YouTube parodies of all time, mixing the awesome combination of Korean language, rap, techno, and Mexican soap opera music... finished off with some awesome cowboy style dancing. He is the Muhammad Ali of Parody Sources. Recognize.
Concrete evidence for both claims:
(I can't say I wouldn't enjoy being him for a weekend... all the Asian lovelies you can take and more.)
