On Friday, key veterans David Meckler and Thomas Hickey were healthy scratches along with Jordan Nolan (upper body injury), enforcer Justin Johnson and rookie Nikolay Prokhorkin.
“There's various reasons for making those changes and chances are there will be a few changes (Saturday),” Morris said. “We're just trying to get everybody in and get people involved in the game.”
Monarchs have some good depth right now with the lockout. A legit 5 lines and 7 defensemen
As I said earlier it's a great thing to have, when you often play 3 games in less then 72 hours (w/ travel) those rested skill players could be a huge advantage

Really wish there was some way for the Monarchs to come out to LA and play a couple of "home" games.
I don't think it'd be possible, because I really don't know the AHL landscape, but it'd be awesome if the Ontario Reign and the Monarchs could switch locations.
2-0 Monarchs after one period. Kolomatis and Kozun with the goals. The Monarchs absolutely dominated that period. They missed the net numerous times and had a number of shots blocked. I would guess they attempted 25-30 shots that period. Great effort.
Cliche makes it 3-0 16 seconds into the second. Change in the sharks net

Sharks look like trash 5-1. Kozun nearly scored off a King Kopita-esq pass. Andy Andreoff also almost scored driving the net. Now Voinov is called and goes to the box. Sharks PP
I live within driving distance of 3 AHL teams and Manchester doesn't play any of them.
Tell me about it. I would have at least bought a few Moose tickets over the Jetless years if Manchester had EVER come to Winnipeg, but nope never. They should rotate it at least somewhat, if only once every 2 years you head to the other conference.

2012 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS LA KINGS!!! GO JETS GO!
Notes:
- Bodnarchuk was a team high +3
- Dwight King recorded 2 assists in his debut game this season
- Kozun netted a goal and an assist
- Deslauriers and King also picked up 2 points (both with helpers)
- Both special teams' goals were scored by defensemen: Kolomatis on the PP, Voynov SH
- Kolomatis recorded a team high 5 shots on goal. Good thing he's shooting more often, he's been on a roll with 3 goals and 5 points in 4 games
