GDT: Milwaukee @ Cincinnati[Anaheim] 6:35 CST

Milwaukee continues their marathon 7 game road trip tonight,in game 4 of the trip against the mighty ducks who they have split two games with this season.

Lineups questions will be; are Fiddler(ankle)and/or Yablonski(eye) ready to go tonight?....since the ads currently have only 13 forwards on the active roster(with pivko still out),if both are still out the ads will be forced to dress 7 dmen for the third game in a row.

With Kotyk sent down, the Admirals will almost surely start Finley in net for a long stretch of games. The guy they called up to replace Kotyk has been the listed emergency goaltender for the Admirals all year, but has never played a game at the AHL level. However he has evidently played very well in the UHL this season. But you would expect him to be there only for emergencies while Kotyk gets some icetime in the UHL and tries to refind his game.

It sounds like Cincy is carrying the play to start out.

sounded lucky to make it out of that first period with a 0-0 score...cann't keep taking all these penalties, especially with 3 of the normal top four pk forwards not in the lineup(fiddler, pivko, severson)and on top of that the fourth normal pk forward(smithson)is now in the box...been very vulnerable on the pk recently and right now they have to be

hamhuis fighting?....well sounds like he avoided injury

shishkanov already with four shots halfway thru this one,and sounds very active....amazing what a goal or two will do for a guy's confidence

Yup, this might be the game here. Dammit Zanon, these types of mistakes just shouldn't happen. Hopefully whoever he hit is OK.

a thrown together line of Gamache and Tootoo, centered by Upshall has had two great shifts late in this game...but shots off the pipe, just over the net, into the glove, off the crossbar...just cann't find that tieing goal...last two games admirals have made the opposing goalie sound like roy for some reason...plenty of shots this period-but no cigar

crap, one mistake on zanon's 5 minute major and that's game...ads third time they've been shutout this year....sounded like a fine game from finley wasted

I was at that game and IT DID NOT DESERVE a 5 minute major. I never saw any blood on the other guy.

Yep - got back about 2:30 am - in bed by 2:47 am and asleep probably at 2:48 am. Up at 8:00 am and am planning on a trip to Knoxville tonight. Depending, of course, on mother nature.

I heard from an ANA fan that he was bleeding a touch on his lip. Doesn't quite seem like a 5 minute major to me either. That goal might not occur if it is just a two minute PP or a 4 minute. It could still have happened, but the pressure that running a normal PP or double PP is more than that of a 5 minute. They could have turned up the tempo instead and scored a goal real quick, then potted another one in the second half of the PP. But I am confident it wouldn't have occured in the same way that it did for a 5 minute major.

Still, an uncalled for, stupid penalty by Zanon. High sticking is a lot like blocking in the back in football. Everyone does it, but it's so unnecessary and foolish and watching the replays, it almost always appears to be avoidable.
