Wikstrand had another GWG penalty shot in Moras 3-2's win. 8G, 4A. 17 games played.

Stopppppppppp dis. 2 away from the record with still 35 games left. He also got an assist. I think tied with Forsberg in points, LOL!

God damn. A 2-1 goal assist ratio is crazy even for a forward. Now a defenseman doing it...Im curious how often thats ever been done.

Should be pointed out that he's just scored 6 goals though, 2 of the 8 are those bogus shootout winners.

Apparently Wikstrand is good defensively from what I'm hearing. So can't be.

Yeah, he'll be there. Swe U20 will play in a tournament next week and at least one of the games will be televised, so maybe you guys could get a stream for that one and get to watch Wikstrand and some of the other guys.

Of interest to us Sens fans:
  • Karlsson at number 7 behind Stamkos, Tavares, Seguin, Hall, Doughty and Pietrangelo
  • Cowen at 50 behind Kadri and MPS among others.
Only players I'd take over Karlsson are Stamkos and Seguin, and even then it would be a tough choice. Erik Karlsson is Elite and it seems that many stil don't understand it. The way to win hockey games is to score goals, no? Check how much offense is created when Karlsson is on the Ice. I don't have the evidence on hand, but stats geeks can find this easily. Karlsson was one of the most dangerous hockey players last year, particulary since Crosby was injured.

Doughty and Pietrangelo are great great D-men but not as impactful as Karlsson IMO. Tavares and Hall have the hype, but they're definitely top-10. And why is Hall over Eberle?

Cowen at 50?

People are in for a big surprise. This guy is going to be a monster

I'd only have Karlsson behind Stamkos and Tavares.
Lidstrom just retired, Pronger is most likely done... the "guard" has changed

Chara, Keith, Doughty, Weber, Suter are his competition now IMO. Alex Edler and Pietrangelo could enter that group very soon

Kitchener are really struggling offensively. Only 39 goals so far the year. Puempel accounts for over 1/4 of those goals.

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone could shed some light on how Cole Schneider is doing in the AHL for Binghamton. Thanks!

Coach knows Lehner will be his guy in the very near future - love these comments:

Lehner, of course, is also second on the team in the penalty minutes department. But those who think his much-publicized fight with another goalie in a game a couple of weeks ago is a sign the 21-year-old Swede still has some maturing to do, well, they should think again.

“I don’t see that,” said MacLean. “Now I’ve only seen Robin play six or seven times, but I felt that in that situation I witnessed that night, I would have done the same thing.

“He got run a few times and he got absolutely shish-kabobed, in my opinion they shish-kabobed him, and then they fell on him, and then they gave him the rabbit punches when he was down. I have no problem with what he did. His reaction was what I would have expected.

“The fact he stood up for himself and got tossed out of the game, I saw nothing wrong with that. I thought he was demanding his share of the ice, being competitive. It was a situation that I wasn’t surprised by his reaction. I thought he did the right thing.”

Shish-kabobed twice in the same sentence. There are no words to describe how boss Paul MacLean is. Yeah and it's good he has a respect for these types of things.

On the 4th lowest scoring team in the O.

Those assist numbers should take a jump as the Rangers get their act together.

By all accounts, he has been easily the Rangers most consistent offensive threat and their best player overall. With Team Canada's coach watching him every night, I think this bodes well for him to get a long look for the WJC team. Given he is a pure sniper, he would be a good fit on the wing for the team, given there are so many playmakers and goal scorers will be at a premium.

he must have had shish-kabob for dinner the night before and it was really good or something. (or maybe he was just hungry)

could be avatar worthy or at least mspaint.
