That would be a dream. But its going to be interesting to see what Murray's going to do, with all that cap space.

Him going after Nash so hard. Only reason it didn't go through was Nash never waived his NTC or else I'm sure he'd be a Senator. Let's not forget how we were the second last team to get cut from Schultz team. If it wasn't for Edmonton he'd be a Senator right now too.

I'm confident Murray will pursue Perry very strong if he ever does reach UFA. We literally become a contender with Perry on the team alongside Spezza but who knows.

I was typing how Bob Murray would never be dumb enough to let Perry or Getzlaf walk as UFAs, but then I remembered the Gardiner for Beauchemin trade

Also, they're pending UFA's and control their fate. Even if he were to trade their rights if there was a season, they could still walk.

If T.O. gets Getzlaf we will need Perry.

JVR/Getzlaf/Kessel

counter with

Michalek/Spezza/Perry

To be fair, he had Fowler already with Schultz waiting in the wings at the time- not to mention Beauchemin was pretty solid in ANA.

Very good night for our prospects.

Puempel: 1 goal 2 assists now got 25 points in 24 games.

Ceci: Goal and assist now got 26 points in 25 games.

Dzingel and McCormick both score keeping them the point leaders on their team 1 and 2 respectively.

Noesen injured I believe.

Driedger with 24 saves in a 4-1 win. 8 straight wins for him. 14-3-2.

Brassard is 14-5-0 also.

I didn't realize how good puempel and neosen have been recently. Puempel is now top 5 in ohl pants and neosen is top 20. Not too long ago they were on like the 3rd and 4th pages of league scoring.

Kitchener started scoring in general. So now Puempel gets assists as well lol.

Darren Kramer 6 3 1 4 +1 26

Quote:
Things got testy at 3:38 when, after Matt McKenzie had finished serving a boarding minor for a hit on Jean Bourbeau, Darren Kramer looked for retribution. The rookie was hit with a game misconduct and a roughing minor for his role while fighting majors were dished out to Ben Blood and Greenville's Bretton Cameron.

There may be a strong possibility at least one of them will make Canada's WJC team. Driedger looks amazing this year, solid pick.

I like how we go from having no goalie prospects outside Lehner to having two very good ones in one draft.

Bravo Murray, bravo.

Don't forget Bishop. A guy who has starting potential in the NHL. Those are very hot commodities in the league and can be a huge bargaining chip in a trade.

In a span of about 4 months we went from one of the worst in terms of goaltending depth, to one of the best. It also hasn't changed my view of the system much, if at all, fans of teams that argue about how their goaltending depth matters much at all against a team with better skaters are out to lunch.

Wow what a blast from the past..

I remember when I was younger I thought he was going to be a sure fire #1 because that's what all team Canada goalies went on to do..

He's doing fairly well in the KHL this year.. 8-4-3 with a 2.39 GAA and a .925 SV%.
