Not that it really even tells us anything about their respective NHL futures but I imagine filings played in an era where 100 point scorers were plentiful.

4:45 into the highlights with Djurgardens is a little taste of the offensive skill that Wikstrand has. Pretty arrogant fake backhand forehand move from a 7th round Dman.

Yeah, people acting like the comparison is an insult are hilarious. The Foligno comparison is closer than the Brown one, Noesen does not hit like Brown, as nice as that would be.

I agree, he doesn't have the motor of a Brown. Isn't as imposing as he is on the fore-check either. With that being said he clearly has better offensive instinct than Foligno. He knows where to be, which was Foligno's biggest downfall - hockey sense.

Can someone explain to me while Ceci has a -13 this year? Was a high powered offence inflating his -/+ or what is the story with his play this year?

Being on the worst junior team does that.

So if team play was inflating his plus minus last year what do you think is deflating them now?

Didn't mean to doubt you, but I went to check the 67s stats, cause that's what I do... I didn't realize:

Brendan Bell 37 8 7 15 -3 37 0 0 0.41 1.00

How the hell did he pull that??? Can't make it with the Sens so he reincarnates himself to play with the 67s???

Haha, I'm sure this is old news to those who follow the 67s, I thought it was hilarious, though... still do.

Similarly, we should have drafted Erik Karlsson last year.

How the hell does Ben Blood not have a point in 21 ECHL games?

Bell just joined the 67s via trade not long ago.

Jarod Maidens still getting headaches and Matt Puempel injured again

Jarrod Maidens

Matt Puempel

Just to clarify, forward Matt Puempel has injured another part of his shoulder. The team has him listed as day to day and has no idea where the rumours are coming from that say he will need season ending surgery.

My guess he doesn'nt get much PP. scoring won't be his forte anyway. From what I have seen he needs to adjust to the speed of the pro game.

thanks for that maidens interview. good to hear him speak about how he's doing although wish it was a little better. He sounds like a smart dude that is taking care of himself first.

(matt puempel should have been traded a month ago)

Puempel was just traded to the Rangers. I doubt they move him.

Don't really care much for Puempel. If he becomes better and develops into a pretty good NHL prospect, then so be it but I have made my peace with him in case he doesn't.

Puempel may take some time, but he has a chance to make it. He has such a nice shot.

Lol what the **** is wrong with people?

He's already a pretty good NHL prospect, just because he got injured all of the sudden he's not a good prospect anymore? Yeah 2nd in league scoring right before getting injured, I guess Zibenejad isn't a good NHL prospect anymore because he got injured and missed 2 months, at least Puempel was producing before he did. Cowen was a terrible NHL prospect as well with all those injuries if we use that logic.
