I think Canuck fans are going to want FAR more than you'd be willing to give up. Your probably thinking bottom
6 players/mid spects/picks. Stuff like that. But to the Canucks he is a cheap, 3rd line winger who has a decent scoring touch, solid defensively, can pk, step in to the top 6 in a pinch, speedy, can hit... Only way I can see him being moved is for a clear upgrade. Obviously no team is going to offer that, but there is no other incentive to move him.

Dead on. He's the sort of player who fits so well that you only move him for a clear overpayment.
Obviously Hansen hold huge value in the Canucks, and probably won't be traded unless used as a key piece in a deal. If he were to be moved it probably wouldn't be to a divisional rival either.
However ignoring that, Hansen for Paajarvi+ could make sense. Though I'm not sure the Oilers would like it too much, but that's realistically what it would take.
Hansen for Gagner is a trade I would do,doubt the Oilers would be to keen on giving up Gagner for Hansen alone though.
A deal involving Hansen for Hemsky could be interesting, depending on what the Canucks are adding.
At the end of the day Hansen has huge value to the Canucks, and I don't see him getting moved, nor do I want him to be moved.
I think a good deal for the Canucks involving Jannik Hansen would be one where he's packaged with another forward for a significant upgrade. No point trading him for another third liner (he's versatile enough that moving him for "a different type of player" is pretty pointless) and most teams aren't going to make a one-for-one trade where they are acquiring a clearly inferior player.
I don't know if the Oilers are a good candidate for that type of deal but I think that's what works for the Canucks. We don't really have a strong need to move Hansen for a player at a different position (maybe center, but then we'd be as weak at RW as we are at center now) so it's got to be something that changes the team's depth chart up a bit.
Vancouver isn't about to trade Hansen obviously, least of all to a division rival.
But if you want to ignore reality for a second and enter fantasy land I'd suggest Gagner for Hansen, probably straight up, would be the value.
This isn't far off. This is the kind of deal we'd be looking for if he were moved. The only way I see it happening is if some younger players really step up in camp this year or next year. If that happened, and there was a considerable offer on the table the filled a need, that would be the only way I see Hansen moved.
