The next sim is tommorow morning, Monday november 11.
The schedule for round one will be 7 days. So you will have until sunday night November 18 (monday morning) to play your games.
*Every GM must play all of his games. No simming.
*Do not play against the other team's computer if they have it set to that until you confirm with that GM they want their computer to play for them (highly unlikely)
*If a GM does not play their series by the deadline they will be removed from the league and the opposing GM may play the CPU.
*Make sure to be proactive and reach out to your opponent via xbox live and HF boards msg to find suitable times to play.
*If you do not get a response after a couple days, send another message, if no response, let me know and I will send them a message to find out if they are still active.
*If there is a disconnection during a game, restart the game and resume the game with the same score and time remaining as when the disconnection happened (note this rule applies to all games not just the playoff games). If you experience lag at the beginning of the game, best to disconnect and restart the game before somebody scores.
*If a team has a CPU GM please wait a few days to see if we can fill the team before playing CPU. You can msg me to check on status if you like.
Ideally we will finish before the 7 days but sometimes peoples schedules are tough to match up.
A 2nd round schedule will be determined after we see how this round goes. LIkely it will be a 4-5 day period rather than 7. We don't want to wait a month to get to the off season.
Please let us know if you have any questions or additional rule suggestions.

Finally caught Minnesota for the President's Trophy!
Winning the tiebreaker of 126 points by having more WINS (60 to 56)
After losing captain Doan on the last game of the season for 20 plus games, the yotes lockeroom has taken a hit, but are staying positive. "Our GM is a psychic. We will miss Doaner, but we were brought in key leadership with pickups like Cole and Aucoin, and we're ready to do some damage this year" said young gun Mikkel Boedker, who is also harboring a minor injury. "We want the cup for our captain. We want the cup for our city."

The playoffs are finally here. Alexander Ovechkin, this years Rocket Richard trophy winner, had only this to say about the up-coming tilt with the Canadiens, "I shoot puck. Puck go in net. I like hockey."
When asked Carey Price about this clear lowblow to the Habs netminder, he replied, "Cool story bro."
The Montreal GM has since been missing and presumed scared. Habs looking for immediate replacement or it will be a cakewalk for Washington to the 2nd round.
Congrats to Phoenix on clinching the Presiden'ts trophy! A well deserved #1 seed.
The Minnesota Wild are still very pleased with their season and #2 seed after the most successful regular season in franchise history. We are entering these playoffs almost completely healthy (*knock on wood*), are locked and loaded and ready to go! Very pumped to get things underway when/if a replacement GM for Calgary has been found!
The Columbus Blue Jackets are exciting to see the outcome of the post season and can't wait to start training for the 2013-2014 season. It was a tough year finishing second to last in the entire NHL and amassing just 66 points. All in all the team was solid defensively but could not put the puck in the net averaging around just 2 goals per game. The team lost a ton of one goal games and had only 5 players put up double digit goal totals. Overall there was impressive performances throughout the roster, Nick Foligno potted 29 goals, Brandon Dubinsky and Brad Marchand exhibited great chemistry, Zach Boychuk and Michael Bournival earned perminent roles with the team and the goaltending was fantastic. The defence appears to be even stronger next year with the development of Brandon Gormley, Justin Faulk, Adam McQuaid and Ryan Murray who finished with a even plus minus rating after being thrown to the wolves. GM Shane M has vowed to be the most active GM in the offseason with a ridiculous amount of cap space, six first round picks including two in the top five and a great young core to build around.
