I just wanted to say that it's really disapointing that EA failed to give Columbus The first round picks of the Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers. These two picks were big parts of the trades in which my franchise lost Rick Nash and Jeff Carter who were my two best players and are on there correct teams. What do you think commish?

wow, so it appears the connected mode does not use authentic draft picks, nor does it provide an option to choose to do so when you create a league, unlike the be a GM mode.
What other teams would be affected by first round picks that have been traded? [it appears to just be Columbus affected by this as no other 2013 firsts were traded...NJ is supposed to forfeit a pick for cap circumvention in some year but we won't worry about that)
What have other leagues done about this, if anything?

Boston Bruins would at least consider trading Chara if blown away with an offer involving a High end forward and a high end prospect, or perhaps 2 forwards one high end and one younger with potential as part of a package.
D Johnny Boychuck is available for forward. Can be an offensive guy or a very good 2 way third liner
What does everyone think about Monday and Friday mornings for sim days? Is that enough time between sims for everyone or do you guys have any other suggestions?

LA and NYR have agreed to send Columbus the 2013 first round picks that should have been assigned to Columbus. This will be done through trading those picks to columbus for 7th round picks. Thank you to Wokeupinaz and co-commish JUMBOCanuck for their co-operation in sorting this out. Thank you Malakian for bringing this up in a professional manner.
Hopefully there are no other transactions missing by EA. Resolving this one does not guarantee we would address another issue. And we certainly can't change various prospect or player ratings lol.

Actually that's awesome. As long as there aren't people who are unavailable on weekends, it should work out well.
I searched up the league, and it comes up with a max of 180 players. If I take Calgary can I just play by myself or do I have to have others join? I was hoping this would just be single GM league. Thanks!

You can certainly play just yourself, we don't have any teams with additional players right now...i think one or two just players joined but then left...
Would anybody object to this being 1 person teams? seems we are all setup that way right now?
I'd be interested in joining but I can play only in the mornings and night on the weekdays but im available whenever on weekends

11 pacific at night till like 3am, i've played all my games against people who are active in that league, the only times i dont get to play someone its usually because they are inactive

i havent seen a complaint about me in the thread
11 is probably a bit late for most people, the plan right now is to sim friday morning and monday mornings, so 4 days for weekday games and 3 for weekend, so it seems your weekend sims would be fine but maybe the weekday ones could be tougher, but i dont know yet when most guys will be on during weekdays, if you were willing to set your team to allow cpu games halfway through the midweek period if you notice the games arent getting done it might be an option, but probably not ideal.
Up to you, you can try with phoenix, or you can be added to a waiting list and we can monitor things, but yeah I haven't seen any complaints about you in the other league so I'd be ok if you wanted to try. at least there wouldn't be a group of east coast GMS where 11pm would be 2am for them
I'm definitely a late nighter too. I work dinners, so I'm gone from 3-10 5 nights a week, so hopefully we've got a decent amount of fellow night owls in this league.
