This was a tad... concerning:

He needs the sauce off his pasta. He hates vegetables, the nutritionist at BC often scolding him for the lack of greenery in his weekly food journal. He favors Skittles and Mountain Dew and chocolate chip cookies. He giggles, often.
At this level, guys need to be focused on the off ice part of the game as well (particularly a top-3 prospect of an NHL team). I would hope his gym habits are better than his eating ones.

The worst part about that is how the writer plays that off as something "cute" or "playful", like it's no big deal

The temporarily healthy Brett Carson is now up to 7 points in 8 games back since his last injury.

I'm not - from the sounds of it his father has the kid's best interests at heart and wants him to grow up a bit before heading to the show - and not only does he look 12 but he seems to act like it.

With a diet of Skittles, Mountain Dew, and chocolate chip cookies, mass won't be an issue.

touche. I don't think it is as big of deal as some are making it out to be, obviously it isn't great news but I am not that worried. I think JG will/should spend all 4 years at BC and by that time he will be ahl ready in size and skill.

Well heck, if that's all it takes to make the NHL, I'll be waiting by my phone.

The article says that JD will most likely stay at BC for the 4 full years.

Probably keep an eye out for him at the 2015 training camp.

If he plays out his 4 years at BC while keeping adding strength and muscle I think he'll be ready to step into the NHl rightaway.

If he's honestly 155, then yeah, two more years to bulk up will be absolutely necessary. Letting him play out his college years is better than rushing him anyway.

Is Patrick Sieloff injured? I've noticed he hasn't played in the last few games, and I can't find any news on him?

just to let you know, Providence is playing UNH on the CBS Sports Network right now. 2-1 UNH early in the third period.

edit: now 2-2
edit II: your boy had a breakaway attempt that was well defended. announcer called him "ever dangerous"
edit III: game ends in OT as a 3-3 tie. Jankowski was far more noticeable in OT than he was during the third period. had a few good shot attempts but obviously didn't convert.

Really like Bill Arnold as well. He's been hovering around PPG while being a defensive beast for BC.

Didn't realize he was ranked 36th overall NA skater in his draft year and we got him in the 4th round!

Should be a good two-way player down the road. Him and Reinhart on a line would be nasty to play against...

BC won the Beanpot; Gaudreau scored two goals and a assist.

Been a pleasure to watch Mike Ferland live every game over the last few weeks. He's in better shape now and his back seems to be back to nearly 100% after bugging him for a long time.

His line with Walker and Stransky with the Blades have combined for 16 goals, 39 points and a +33 rating in only 6 games so far this month. I think Ferland's point streak is up to like 8 games now.
