lol wow, I can't believe they were that close to an embarassment (Donovan or no Donovan). After the youth team couldn't make the Olympics, the national team cannot be missing out on the World Cup, soccer would be set back for years.

US soccer needs a change anyway. Pick the pre-highschool kids and just develop 10 players who are only told to shoot and score and defend corner kicks.

Playing these tiny nations in CONCACAF on these amateur, overgrown fields, with questionable reffing, I won't ever complain about 3 points. Lets move on to the hex.

Guatemala and US are tied at the top of the table with the same line in W/L/D/GF/GA/GD/Pts

Jamaica is 3pts behind us but has a GD of 0 where we are +3 so they have to absolutely thrash Antigua & Barbuda (and no one has really done that yet) to give themselves a chance of advancing to the hexagonal.
