It should be a blowout (relatively) for LFC. No Tiote for Newcastle ruins their defense. Suarez will enjoy another fine day.

This is my first season following the EPL really closely. And I think the fact that I'm still a bit mad about the offside call today is a good sign that I've found my team.

Well, atleast Manchester United can stay in Chelsea.

Carling Cup Match on Wed against Chelsea , then off to another tough Prem match against the Gunners

Did I hear that right tonight, EPL to NBC sports next season?

If they do for EPL what they did for soccer, I'll be thrilled. I've never cared much for Fox's coverage, though it was better than scrambling to find English streams online.

Welcome. I am a Liverpool fan now for some 37 years. My first soccer shirt ever was when my mother made me a red one with number seven sewed on back. for Kevin Keegan.

I'm concerned about the impact on MLS fandom, personally.

A lot of MLS fans have an EPL team too. Completely different leagues.

If the MLS could ever attract high-end in-their-prime-talent, then it would be different.

I really can't see it being a negative for MLS. The people that only want to watch the EPL because it is such a higher level of play wouldn't want to watch MLS anyway. Those that may not be too into the sport may get more into it by watching such a high level of competition on TV. If they really do get into it, it could lead them to MLS, be it for convenience of following a local team over one abroad, or just because they become such fans of the sport that they want multiple teams to pull for. The way I see it, it increases exposure for soccer as a whole, which should have some residual benefit for MLS. And it does give them more eyeballs to flash their ads in front of. Get a Man United/Chelsea match on NBC and throw up an advertisement for Red Bulls/DC United while all of those people are already watching. Couldn't hurt.

The EPL games aren't even on at the same time as MLS games. If anything, the MLS can schedule games to have the EPL "lead in" to their coverage.

They're apparently going to broadcast all 380 matches. Every single one.

When you score in the 96th minute of a game with 4 minutes stoppage...

And now Arsenal are up 5-4. Total madness. I'll have to watch the highlights of this game, I'm sorry I missed it.

Reading tied it, then Arsenal went back ahead as Walcott got the hat trick. What a wild game.
