If you're not in the Top 5, you want one of Arsenal, who should finish Top 5 at least, or Chelsea, who will finish Top 5, to win the Capital One Cup. PERIOD.

That opens up Spot 6 to the Europa League. So go Arsenal and Chelsea in the CC.

Newcastle visits Liverpool and the talk from the club is about how poor their record is at Anfield. I'll be happy if I'm able to watch cause that means I have power back...if they lose it's expected

The bigger teams rarely field their strongest sides for the League Cup. Arsenal had its third string goalie playing, a guy I'd barely heard of, and very little of the starting defence. The result is a wild 7-5 game.

I was shocked that Chelsea played such a good side yesterday. Like you said, the bigger teams normally field weak sides

LA advances in the West. I really want an LA vs NY final. The best part is that it would be at RBA!!

You got that right. Those a-holes are saying the MLS will do anything to give NY an advantage, we are using the hurricane as an excuse and so on and so forth... ******* ridiculous. Since the games are going to be on Natl TV, I wanted to get a TIFO together taking their worst online comment and putting it on a banner... name, facebook pic, and all... and another banner thanking DC fans for their support.

I wonder if power will be restored in time for Newcastle's match in Sunday morning.

I hope he tears it up this week. I think they need a big win to get some momentum going.

He would do week in week out if he had some better ****ing teammates. Liverpool can't just rely on Suarez and Gerrard for goals/assists. So frustrating.

I can't imagine where they would be without Suarez. Obviously Gerrard is Gerrard but he's scored one goal.

I'm so proud of Kyle. Boo if you're scared of Suarez.

Meanwhile, Liverpool NEEDS to win on Sunday. Really, really, REALLY needs to win.

Still have the image of Gerrard megging Krul to score Liverpool's third of the match last year in my head. Beautiful.

Also, the greatest football match ever played...

...and **** that too.

I want van Persie shut down, and I do not have fond memories of that game, though I do respect Newcastle.
