Fallon and now this?

A Swedish goalie is more exciting than 2 Canadian stars and four Canadian dmen capable of playing top pairing.

The punchline should have been the reveal of the Swedish Chef at the end

Say what you want about ESPN, but their commercials are hilarious

It's because they've hired a marketing firm to do them over the last several years. Wieden and Kennedy, also responsible for the Old Spice commercials.

Edit: advertising firm is probably more accurate.

These commercials are funny.

Old Spice ones are just anti-white.

It has nothing to do with nationality. That's completely absurd.

Henrik Lundqvist is the best goalie in the world, the best goalie we've ever had, the best player on the team, and the undisputed face of the franchise. I don't care if he's from Canada, Sweden, or ****in Andromeda. He's Henrik Lundqvist.

I think his statement is accurate. It is open for debate, but in a poll my guess is Lundqvist takes it. More importantly my guess is in a player poll and I don't remember if they asked it in the annual TSN one, both players and GMs would probably give him that nod.

Rinne and Quick are the other ones I would discuss, but that is it and I would vote Lundqvist.

There is one NYR player who has been named MVP of his position last year and team MVP the last 6 straight seasons. And he isn't Canadian.

As a curious question, who are the four Canadian defensemen capable of playing top pairing?

Lundqvist is the King of New York. Makes sense to use him as the face of the franchise, no?
