Yep, it's terrific for him, he says he needs to get back to his scoring game and less from a grinding role.

Wilkes-barre's D would have been insane if the NHL had proceeded as normal, but I don't really like their chances against guys like Nugent-Hopkins and Eberle, who already make solid, veteran NHL D look stupid. I mean, WBS basically has an NHL defense, but there are not just NHL forwards, but NHL all-stars down there now.

While not stacked, Springfield has a lot of solid young players who will surely be helped by this extra year at the AHL against NHL/AHL mixed competition.

Those are:
John Moore
David Savard
Tim Erixon
Ryan Johansen
Matt Calvert
Cam Atkinson
Tomas Kubalik

The AHL is an interesting league, and they are very veteran oriented. Look at all the past winners and they all have a strong veteran presence. Teams are allowed up to 6 vets, OKC only has 2.
This season won't be easy for them, the have a very young team and it will take some time to adjust.

Nice list for sure, it could be great for the BJ's in terms of having more time to make decisions on some of their waiver eligible D (I assume that Moore is eligible?).

We have a young team, but a very skilled team, and a pretty gritty team. We'll be more than fine once we knock the rust off and start to win games on a regular basis.

I wish him and the Isles the best of luck, I like to think of them as the Oilers east

The game tonight looked good for the Barons, Schultz had a assist and two goals putting him at 5 points in 3 games, Eberle scored a goal assisted by the Nuge ( Eberle also generated many scoring chances ) Nugent-Hopkins with another assist aswell, Marincin scored a goal for the Barons and I believe Hartikkinen also got a goal. Barons seemed to be just getting fired up now not too mention Hall will be joining them very soon. 5-2 win for Barons.

Man I can't wait too see what they'll do down there all playing together, Justin Schultz is showing very good promise and is arguably our best player right now for the team.

Im definetly rooting for Columbus to turn it around, and thats a fairly solid list of guys to start with.

I guess we can put Norfolk into the mix and they've been playing like it (3-0-0 lead the AHL in Goals scored)

Kyle Palmieri
Devante Smith Pelly
Emerson Etem
Peter Holland
Sami Vatanen
Hampus Lindholm
Patrick Maroon (3rd (points) in the AHL last year)
Ryan Lasch (led the SM-Liga in points last year)
Frederik Andersen

The Ads are looking real sharp. Especially Vatanen and Lindholm. Vatanen had 3 assists tonight.

Schultz, RNH and Eberle had more shots combined than all of SA. That's dominance.

Bulldogs are looking good at 2-0-0 so far. If Mayer keeps playing like he did last night we'll be a pretty good team this year!

Lake Erie really playing a fantastic team game right now, not alot of NHL talent compared to some other teams out there, but they have beaten 2 of the supposed Top teams already, fairly convincingly.

Tyson Barrie is playing outstanding right now, looking real good.

Adds another goal for his 3rd. Though the goal was a bit of a gift from the opposing goalie, Nino is looking good out there and making some nice plays. He now has 5 pts in three games.

Cody Hodgson and Marcus Foligno with 3 pnts each last night. Between the 2 they lead all AHL scoring categories.

The Sound Tigers are lucky in that they have a quality NHL goaltender in Poulin. They also have three defensemen in de Haan, Ness, and Donovan who would've competed for spots on the Islanders lineup. When it comes to forwards, Ullstrom and Cizikas would've challenged for bottom-12 roles. Neidereitter, most likely would (and will) benefit from being at the AHL level and scoring at will.

My singular complaint is that Jason Clark hasn't been dressed for the past three games. They signed him to an AHL-NHL contract. I would hope the team puts him ahead of AHL plugs on the fourth line.

Albany

Larsson
Henrique
Josefson
Tedenby
Butler
Parse
Gelinas
Urbom

Josefson Henrique and Butler had a great game tonight, and Larsson is in a league of his own, his patience and poise is unmatched in the AHL.
