We got a lot of secondary scoring in Houston. It's kind of like the Minnesota Wild.
Guys like Arcobello, Green (who we've missed pretty well all year), Paajarvi, Pitlick, etc. would also benefit from more ice. That said our defense needs to be dealt with, if they are a boat anchor now for us, it'd be far worse without having the 4 high end guys to score goals to prop them up.

That shouldn't be an excuse but maybe it's just me.

Hockey fans in particular downplay the loss of key players too much. finishing a marathon is a lot harder if you break your ankle at mile 12...its understandable (an excuse) if you don't finish and a particular triumph if you do.

He would have had to have been waived before that certain date in Sept I thought to be AHL eligible?

Well, realistically you're missing 1, since the Dogs are missing one of their top forwards in Geoffrion.

A loss is a loss...Dogs are a pretty bad team and have very little experience.

BSENS 8 GAME WIN STREAK!!!!!

Just toying with the top team in the east, 0/7 on the pp, hit 3 posts and still come ahead 5-2.

Pretty funny that their top scorer is at #103 (Andre Benoit, 12 points)

I suspected they would take a bit of time to get rolling. They have tons of youth, some from Europe, so it looks like they are starting to gel. I wonder if they can keep winning?

Aren't they the youngest team in the AHL?

Bingo can not be stopped. We could have scored 9 against the Crunch tonight.

I swear EA should have to issue a public apology for wrongly teaching people about 1/2 way contracts for years.

And the funny part about Bingo...we got like 2-3 mentions in this thread before the season / early in the season, and we are the 3rd or 4th best team in the league right now.

People underestimate Ottawa Senators prospects. We are the youngest in the league yet we're 4th with 3 games in hand and only 4 points away from 1st.

Funny thing is, we are doing this without our number 1 defender in Cowen who would single-handedly lower our GAA by 1. What an impact he had on this team early on.

We have the strongest depth and best goaltending in the A. That's what's gotten us this far.

Eh, Crunch played horrible btw. Which isn't to short Bingo's win, they deserved it plain and simple. Just realize, that isn't normally how the Crunch play. :/

Seems like it is though, because we've crushed you guys like that twice in a row, and won three in a row.

lol. No.

That title belongs to the Heat, sorry. Unless 44 GA in 18 GP is more impressive than 36 GA in 20 GP.

Lehner is a great goalie regardless.

injuries are a real problem right now, as is the goaltending. The net minders are inconsistent.

The strength of Bingo is their depth. Which is their first line, which is their fourth? It is honestly hard to say, especially when you look at production.

The goaltending has been outstanding and the best outside of Brust in Abbotsford.

Given the youth on the team, they look to get stronger as the season wears on. They will likely remain quite strong should the NHL seasons start, though teams with AHL vets will see an uptick in performance (Crunch being an obvious one)

Jakob Silfverberg has been playing very well lately. Ottawa got a gem on their hand.

Crunch would have won today playing normal, nearly tied the game with 10 minutes to go playing one of the worst games of the season... lol

Syracuse might have the best offense in the league, but problem is they are a bit one-dimensional. Binghampton and Wilkes-Barre are absolutely red-hot right now, they just keep on winning. Wilkes are 13-3 in their last 16 games. Both, Bingo and Wilkes-Barre are defense-first teams and I think its not a coincidence that both teams outplayed Syracuse pretty easily multiple times this season.

Bingo and Wilkes are very young teams, with great depth and excellent defense + goaltending. They honestly look pretty comparable and similar to me.

Yeah, they seem to have stinkers when Bingo is the opposition.
