Gardiner is a fine prospect, Rielly will be a keeper. Biggs could end up being a 2nd/3rd liner, Colborne played through a severe injury that might limit future production. Kadri not first line potential in the NHL. The Leafs finally have depth though which is great.
Likewise, I'm still in "Show me the money" mode with our own guys. Once Silf pots 30-35, 70+ points for the next 10-15 years and Zib gets 20-25, 40+ points for the next 10-15 years at the NHL level then it's all good. My expectations are extremely tempered though as AHL dominance might not translate to anything worthwhile at the NHL level.
Colborne is the only one of those guys that's been playing for the Marlies the past few weeks. It's the Marlies defense that's leading them right now. Paul Ranger is too good for the AHL and Kostka is the highest scoring AHL defenseman behind Schultz.
I expect Ranger to make the Leafs this year if he so chooses.

I take it nobody, to this day, knows for sure why this guy fell off the face of the Earth? Remember thinking to myself, "boy that Tampa D is brutal, but at least Ranger's pretty decent" then never seeing him again haha.

Nothing conclusive. Just that he left the lighting for Personal Reasons in 09' and came back this year.
Congrats to Dallas Eakins and Luke Richardson on coaching the all star game.
Honestly, I was shocked in a happy way that Eakins accepted a multi year contract to stay the coach of the Marlies instead of pursuing NHL opportunities. He his going to be an NHL coach one day, not sure if thats going to be with us, but his affect on our farm system and with our prospects will go on for a long time. One of the brightest young coaches in the game right now. Not sure if his contract has an out clause but if I'm not mistaken he has said he's committed to the Marlies, eventually he's going to be in the NHL it's inevitable.
