So assuming Gaborik recovers on time to make the team, who would Slovakia's wingers be?

I assume that both Hossas, Tatar (and Gaborik) are the only locks ATM. Zaborsky is having a dissapointing season, Jurco was sent down again, Panik is quite a non factor on Tampas squad, Miklik and Bartovic are playing well but i don't see them playing bottom six roles in the olyimpics and they dont really have a chance at a top 6 spot at the tourney, is Spirko beeing considered at all?

I like this lineup and lines as well. I think my team would have Martin Marincin though. Given the paucity of talent down the middle, I would put Panik at centre. He played centre in junior with Windsor and Belleville as much as he played wing. I would have Miklik instead of Kukumberg. I think Satan instead of Radivojevic. Add Zaborsky, cut Olvecky.

So Czechs left leader of Flames out of roster and we're worried if Gaborik will play with 8 screws in the bones.

Really? After being a vawe of fresh air on WC A-team, current season is a little bit dissapointing.
He makes mistakes on the fourth line of Slovan and was weak offensively on the last WJC.

Jurco, Panik > Dano and I also do believe Reway > Dano

I read recently that visnovsky hadn't been playing and isn't likely to be named to the team

If that is the case, I would replace with Martin Marincin of the Edmonton Oilers. He just today received high praise from his coach Dallas Eakins.

If you are going with an American model of top six forwards, and then six guys who stop goals, I think Bliznak would be a better choice. A long history of playing two-way centre in the AHL.

Well, you need to have guys who can kill penalties. Imo, Zaborsky & Miklik are useless, they're not going to play PP/PK/top6 mins

big SK "+" is their coach. He can do good mix even with the lack of depth. I would not underestimate the power of SK team spirit, even the medal is not unreal

better than I expected... but Marcinko? I would rather see Bližňák or Šťastný as checking line center

Ok roster by me.
The biggest questions are obviously injured Visnovsky and Gaborik + out of shape Meszaros.
Glad to see Satan is not going. Glad to see Marincin, Jurco and Panik are there.

Satisfaction in general. I would just replace Marcinko (wtf?! ) by Špirko and Šťastný for Surový.

Looks great. I expected some old farts like Satan and Stumpel over Jurco. Also good to see Marincin and Zaborsky made it.

Will Marincin play much or will he be the #8 guy on this team?

We may miss Šatan's game vision and his ability to calm down the game. And you cannot replace such experience by "some" Marcinko.

Satan is probably only big miss, he is way off his prime though...

As I said, big SK asset is their coach... and this roster proves it...
