Habs kill us when we are playing well. God knows how badly they will kill us tomorrow.
I had faith that the core of this team -- Ladd, Little, Wheeler, Kane, Byfuglien, Enstrom, Pavelec -- had finally grown tired of folding like cheap tents when it mattered but it's just not the case.
They are playing like they are afraid to lose, and teams like that do not win. Get the season over with and make some changes.
Either way this place with be a bi polar hen house with complaints about bad coaching and bad management
And how burmistrov should get 18 minutes a game
I predict that we finally see some desperation and win this one big time. If we do, we're at home for 7 of the last 9 with a good chance to be in it to the end.
If we lose this game, I'll be dangerously close to hoping we get a high draft pick. Something like 3-7 might get us into the top 5. The message here is that we're almost as close to the bottom of the barrel (except for maybe Florida and Colorado) as we are to the playoffs.
Thinking about this some more, it's probably best to cheer for all the teams below us NOT in the SE division. That way we either get in or free fall to the bottom of the conference. Please do not finish in 9th!!!
Chalk up this game as a loss - there's no way that the Jets fragile psyches are going to be able to withstand the pressure of playing in the Molson Centre in front of the most rabid fans in the league.
I just hope the jets can actually score a goal, and not get 8 or 9 against.
I think this one is going to be UGLY. But, this is the game that should represent the rock bottom point, and the Jets will slither off with their collective tails between their legs and rebound for the last nine and hold onto the division lead.
I still believe, and I still believe the jets can end up in the play-offs.
