The play calling by McDaniels is also problematic. He seemingly tried to be too clever and is over thinking things to a large extent. He needs to be better and realize that his best asset is Brady. Let him do his thing. They also need to stop trying to force the ball to Lloyd. The reason they were tough to stop in years gone by was because Brady didn't care who he threw it to as long as the guy was open. Get back to basics.
Lloyd's dropped a few catchable balls in key spots this year ( last night's game: 3rd down drop and a touchdown drop in the 4th ). I can understand why they're trowing it deep to him but I think the perception of forcing the ball to Lloyd would be different if he would catch the ones that are right in his mitts.

Agreed. He's certainly made some catches he had no business making, but he's also dropped some balls that were very catchable and/or must have plays. I've always liked Lloyd as a player, but I'm not sure he and Brady are on the same page yet.

It is really too bad the AFC is so crappy and/or that Buffalo isn't winless.

Fred Jackson on the Pats right now, a great RB that can pass protect and catch the ball out of the backfield.

I mean, just replace Woodhead with Fred Jackson.......

A "pre-madonna"?

That's unbelievably hilarious. And by that, I mean the spelling.

Wonder what a post-madonna looks like...

For some reason Josh McDaniels thinks Woodhead is Terrell Davis. Still haven't figured out why yet

Heh, not exactly the best tackle, but Spikes is a beast. I honestly don't know this...are shoulders to the head acceptable?

Hits to the head are illegal, but the RB dropped his head to brace for impact.

Ras-I Dowling placed on IR again. Yet another bust in the secondary. I've lost count over the years.

Rivaled only by their swings and misses at WR's in the draft. Just terrible.

1st pick of the 2nd round in 2011...can't ever seem to stay on the field. Had the same problem in the NCAA.

Tough to take...Pats just can't seem to catch a break with drafting and developing players for their secondary.

I would trade all of my draft picks to move up and get Te'o. He is a game changer that this defense needs.
