Tragic news out of Dallas today.

Cowboys TB Josh Brent was charged with intoxication manslaughter after a car crash last night that killed teammate Jerry Brown who was a linebacker on the practice squad. Not a good few weeks for the NFL.

Cutler of last 2 years protects ball well

Only 1 game this year was a loss because Cutler got careless with ball (GB) ,, He isn't the same QB he was a few years ago who would just throw it wrecklessly

And he is best rated QB in 4th qtr this year in NFL (One of best 2nd half QB's in league as well)

Rivers has been horrific for 2 years late in games and has a ton of games he has thrown away for Chargers

Cutler is more a guy who takes what D is giving him now.. He still will try at times to pass into quadruple coverage (With varying degrees of success) but he no longer constantly forces balls

Bears only chance this year is if Cutler/Marshall remain healthy and Bears D can get its act back together for playoffs

I think Cutler/Marshall will continue to do what they do but injuries are mounting every week on defense
Agree about the D needing to get healthy.

Cutler however I completely disagree on. Yeah QBR wise he might not be awful, but he's not great. I know he's the best thing you guys have had at QB in years and that's great, but you're over stating his worth IMO. The fact is the guy has 15 turnovers. He's okay to good in wins and against mediocre to bad teams, he's horrible against good teams.

Look at his games against GB and Houston this year, THAT is who Jay Cutler is to me, even if the GB game is a bit of an extreme.

I personally think he is mediocre, and it'll probably show itself in on WC weekend. For your sake I hope I'm wrong.

Considering he suffered a concussion and stayed in game with symptoms throwing another pick the Texan game is sorta not good to judge

And against the Packers ,, Yep he was awful (He always is vs Packers)

And Cutler was much better against the Seahawks D then Tom Brady so the claim he struggles vs good D's is a bit over the top.. Cutler struggles badly vs Don Capers ,,,, Capers destroys Cutler

Vs several other quality defenses over years he has been very good (At end of day though he is 1-6 as Bears starter vs Capers GB d)

We will have to agree to disagree about Cutler's worth ,,, Guy is most important part of Bears

Without him at QB they are awful offensively and lose ,, Look at last year's collapse to see how important he is

I know he makes them better, and is an important part of that team, but like I said, I think he's a mediocre QB who is mistake prone, even if he's curtailed that recently.

Didn't know about the concussion in the HOU game either, my B.

Yeah he got hit helmet to helmet by Dobbins (Texan LB) ,, Stayed in game for a few more plays (Throwing a pick)

Then was out for 2nd half and missed the Bears next game vs 49ers (Campbell was miserable that game)

The Bears should have beat the Packers they had like 10 EASY complitions they just droped includeing a TD, recievers ran the wrong routes on Cutler, He wasn't perfect but I think he did make throws to win his recievers let him down big time.

AP carrying my fantasy team as he goes for 100+ on the ground and 2 TD's in the first.

So excited that CBS decided to show the awful Chargers and wildly overrated Steelers here today vs. RGIII (one of the most exciting players in the league) and the Ravens (whose outcome could have an impact on the Patriots down the road).

It's a good day to have NFL RedZone. I haven't been able to see the whole game, but I haven't been stuck watching much of the steelers/chargers game either.

Skins tie it with 30 seconds left RG3 is out back up gets 8 points to tie

the Baltiomre luckies win the toss can they loose anything that involves luck???

Hopefully the Steelers game ends soon or CBS just goes to the Skins game.

Win out and we get the Bye OR If the Broncos drop another game and we beat our remaining AFC (Mia,Hou,Jack) we get the Bye.

Our best bet is if the Ravens beat the Broncos at this point then we would have a game over both.

Wouldn't be surprised if at the draft if a few teams start calling up the Skins about QB Kirk Cousins

Could see a team working out a trade for him if Skins listen

Great value for a 5th rounder. I remember the outrage when they took him.

We have to win all of our games to really secure that bye.. Broncos have an easy schedule besides Baltimore, but the Texans have a pretty tough one left.

Gonna be hard to beat the Texans/Niners back to back, but we have to go into the playoffs having gone through the best. Two easy wins should be ours with Jacksonville and Miami again after, but I'd really like to see us pull out a bye. Huge game tomorrow.

Ravens own the tiebreaker since they beat us. We own the tiebreaker over Denver since we beat them.
