Benigno, without question, although he was better overnight. Adam Schein, Mike & the Mad Dog, and Chris Carlin are all OK, but Joe is definetly the best.

Oh yeah, Tony Paige is good too!

Overnight will never be the same without Joe. I also used to like Somers doing the over night, and does anyone remember like oh id say 6 or 7 years ago, that CRAZY guy that LOVED hockey, that did the overnight, he rarely talked sports, he just talked about random crap in his raspy voice. lol i used to listen to him a lot.

I wonder if Joe realizes how much worse he is with that guy.

Speaking of WFAN anyone catch Barry Melrose on Mike & The Mad Dog? He seemed overly optimistic and pro-owner.

yes i did. The thing is, Melrose has been overly optimistic that this would get resolved since before the lock out even started. So im not too sure how to take Melrose's comments. He did make a good point though, and i agree, the owners have all the leverage, and the players would be smart to just accept what the owners propose now, because this may be the best deal they'll get.

lol, the marquis has been really tough this year. I was cracking up the first and second day they had superbowl contest, nobody was even coming close, the best was when they played a soundbite of a coach, I think it was Dan Reeves speaking, and the contestant guessed that it was Vince Lombardi, Mike and Chris were cracking up so much that they had to go to an unscheduled commericial break.

hahahahahah yep. Some of the questions are absolutely insane, lol. Like, what was the number of the back up left Tackle in super 3 who only appeared in one game in his life.

"Oh this is an easy one Mike, he's gotta get this one" - Dog

hahahhaa, they always think the questions are so easy.

I swear one question was, "who was the first quarterback to ever take a knee to end the game" Mike made him ask a different question, basically saying it was an impossible question for someone to know.

I try not to listen to the fan

not a big fan of the station anymore.

ESPN has better guys and is a more enjoyable listen every morning on the way to work.

weekly interviews with knowledgable guys, Gammons, Vitale, Bill Curry and so on.

Plus I like Jim Rome and his sarcastic personality.

Jim Rome is the man. And you're right, ESPN is better in a lot of ways. I just like the more local talk that the FAN provides.

Personally, I prefer Mike and Mike (Golic and Greenberg) on ESPN's morning show. As for WFAN, I prefer Mike and Dog. I know a lot of people do not like them, but I enjoy their show,

Beningo. He knows his stuff, he has respect for all the teams in this city, he respects the opinion of the fans of those teams even if it's not his team, he doesn't hang up on them all the time like Russo. He's just like everyone else, a fan.

And I know there isn't a poll yet but Minko is definitely my favorite 20/20 guy. It's hilarious when Mike and Chris get him laughing, it's such a funny sound.

Gammons. Gag.
respected Baseball guy on any station.

Bluster Olney seems like a bullshvit artist and I just don't like Kirchen (sp?) He seems like he doesn't believe what he says.

Is it true the Fatman can't stand Beningo and looks down upon him because he didn't go through the traditional channels to become a sports talkie? That's what I thought what I read once.

Eh, I don't care if Gammons is respected. I think it's just a Yankee fan thing...he's a Sox fan, can't like the guy lol.

You know, I've always gotten the impression from Mike and Chris that they don't really get along with Joe. So who knows.

they outwardly hate Joe, ESPECIALLY Mike. There is no secret there. And I remember how joe used to Bash the HELL out of Mike and the Dog on his over night show, it was so funny. But yeah, they hate eachother.
