Must have for habs fans

Just went out and got my 12' Patrick Roy figure in the Habs jersey. Incredible is the only word i have to describe it. Check out your local WalMarts before these things become available on ebay only.

That's awesome! I better get to Wal Mart soon. I wish there was one of Theo too.

There is a six inch Theo out there. It's from an older series so it sells for around $30 plus shipping on ebay. He's also in a 2 pack with Joe Thornton. Toys R Us sold them, some stores may still have them. Mine still has a Koivu/Salo 2 pack and that's been for a full year.

It may not be. Some one came into the WalMart in my town and bought all the Roy's that were on display. One of the clerks told me they wouldn't put any more out until they came out with a policy so it wouldn't happen again. I asked nicely and he went into the back to get me one. Might be worth a try.

Here in Edmonton, they had a McFarlane show during the Heritage Classic. Apparently, they sold 500 Roys that weekend, and people from across North America came to Edmonton only for the card-toy show.

They were selling 6' Roy in the habs away jersey for $25. They sell for over $100US on ebay. I hear they sold out every morning within 1 hr. These 12 inch figures are way nicer. Heavy too, probably around 4-5 pounds.

A truly great figure. In fact you could still get one as they ended up as peg warmers in most stores.

The Koivu figure that comes with Tommy Salo is in the "home" white uniform. There is also a red uniform figure that came out in late July of last year. The only other habs figure is a "retro" Chris Chelios which save for the fact that I collect these figures, holds no interest for me. Theo also has a red uniform figure from the first series of NHL figures and has a white uniform figure as part of a two-pack with Joe Thornton. In fact as I look closer it looks like the exact same pose, just very slightly closer to the middle of the net. The only new additions (which makes it well worth the purchase) seem to be the toque and the "V". Jason Smith is a new figure.

The Theo/Smith two-pack will be out in December. All the other figures discussed except for the red Koivu which I still see in stores are available through E-pay.

I would love to see a LaFleur figure. However #1 legend figure on my wish list is Ken Dryden in classic pose. They can do both masks. Rocket is a very close second. All these legend figures completely depend on the authorization of the former player as opposed to the NHLPA/NHL deal Mcfarlane has. That's why we'll probably never see some coveted figures. The Cheevers figure believe it or not looks awesome. Just make sure the puck is in the net

Thanks, any idea what stores will carry them???

I live in Toronto so the stores may not carry Hab items. Nothing but Torontonian stuff around here, its scary, nothing but blue

Wally-world usually carries the full lineup of McFarlane Toys . Zellers has most of them. I think you can also get them at some EB Games locations too.

The Heritage classic set looks sweet but I like the legends figures too...

[Danny Gallivan] Cournoyer is open, speeding down the wing. Dipsy doodles past Rattelle and now is on a breakaway. Only Cheevers to beat... and he scooores!!! He beats him with a connodating shot on Cheever's stick side! [/Danny Gallivan]

Oh well I guess I have to get'm all!
