@conroyherald: Chara's agent Matt Keator said Bruins' captain is now leaning toward playing in Europe. Could have a decision within a week.

Beats TV commercials that ruin the flow of the game.

One is an aesthetic issue that is held up by purists as ruining the game, the other DOES effect the game yet no one seems to mind.

Well...I mind!

I'm the one that will change the channel whenever they break for ads. I don't care what's on the other station, I HATE ads!!!

Even worse is when there is a momentum swing, big hit, fight, goal, etc. then a commercial break for everyone to take a breather.

Intelligent thought that has completely made me rethink the issue.
I'd probably have no problem with ads on jerseys if it reduced/eliminated commercials.

According to a thread on the main NHL board, ESPN3 is broadcasting KHL games. It's an on-line streaming site so far....the on-line tv schedule does NOT have them schedule for cable viewing.
http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh....php?t=1266325

On Saturday, Chara's Lev Praha (and teammates Jiri Hudler & Jakub Voracek among others) is playing against SKA St. Petersburg which includes former B's short-timer Kevin Dallman (and teammates Ilya Kovalchuk, Vladimir Tarasenko, Maxim Afinogenov, Alexei Semenov and Viktor Tikhonov)

None of the ESPN streaming or tv sites have been updated as far as I've been able to find out.
http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index/_/channel/espn3

Although the header of this site has the first game being braodcast tomorrow with Ovechkin's Dynamo Moscow v. Ak Bars Kazan.

I'm going to Europe on honeymoon, we had already talked about seeing a hockey game there and it turns out we get to see Chara now that he is on HC Lev Praha!

If anyone is interested, you should be able to watch Tuukka's game here, or any other of his games with Plzen in the future:
http://www.tvtipsport.cz/elh/?matchId=2740496

First intermision right now, Plzen down 0:1 atm.

edit: can anyone confirm its not geo-restricted for you guys in US?

Should have every czech league game, its run by the main sponsor of the league, Tipsport betting company, so its legal.

Also the game has been pretty boring, lots of broken up plays, etc.

Patrice Bergeron to HC Lugano means probably that the club found that solution more appealing than Stamkos or Zetterberg. #Swiss-league

So will the NHLPA have to wait until June again to negotiate because so many of their players are involved in their team activities.
