No. However, I do plan to go back and watch all these low grade simpsons episodes one day. I will report back to the simpsons quote thread, with all the quotes that are funny. I want to see if it truly is as bad as people say it is.

Sure. The Simpsons isn't nearly as good as it use to be, but I still enjoy watching, every new episode.

Ned and Edna are married. As I said in the other thread, it's nothing like the show of the past.

Thing for me is The Simpsons went really awful for a long time, then the 'new' style animation ones came out, IIRC like season 22 onwards and its given the show a bit of a breath of fresh air, its different comedy to that of the great Simpsons episodes of the past, but I think some can be quite funny.

I predict a quirky musical performance within the first five minutes.

It's not funny anymore.
There are also too many "vapid" celebrity guests for each episode. For instance, in one episode they had LeBron James and he just appeared in a short segment with other athletes.

That's not new. I was watching the Be Sharps episode today and David Crosby has one brief scene and George Harrison has two brief scenes.
And to answer the original question. I may watch an episode or two, I still find it watchable. But I'm more interested in re-watching seasons 3-8...

I thought last season was one of the better seasons in quite some time. I'll check out this new season. The cast signed a 2 year deal for a considerable less amount of money than in previous years. I think FOX cut back on the shows they ordered as well.
FOX was ready to cancel the show last year. There is a possibility that this season could be the last season. However I think they want to get to 25 years, so I would think it ends after season 25.
I'm hoping the writers have something left in the tank.
