I don't believe it's been touched much. It's been empty for most of the league's existence, and the last owner wasn't too active. You could always check on it, then leave if it's not to your satisfaction.

With injuries, the Sabres 1C is.... wait for it... Kevin ****ing Porter. 76 overall.

Looking for a 1C, not against including Myers.

No big deal he was my extra d anyways. I know i've claimed guys before checking here so I can't get mad lol. I'll send him a deal to get him back.

I know if you were to post the off limit players in game on the news feed it'd help me since I don't check here sometimes, plus it'd take away any excuse people have for not knowing.

I think ottawa knew he was getting kicked so he ruined his roster for the next gm.

Anybody else on the waiver wire outside of Bonino and Wellwood are fair game, right?

Detroit shouldnt be allowed to keep making these terrible trades. He traded Kronwall and Gaborik for almost nothing. The only good player he got back was Voracek. He is already last in the league and if he quits its not fair to his replacement.

I'm pretty sure u'll quit before I do, and I don't think the trade was all that bad. Of course it's not good for my team this season, but I already lost Zetterberg to an injury, and that made me decide for trying harder for next season. When it comes Kronwall, getting Perreault who will be around 82-83 next season and Brodie also improving, will be 85 in his 4th season. I think I'm keeping track of my trades in a pretty good way.

Voracek is solid, and Wellwood can become good. That move has the potential to work out, and in the other trade, Brodie will be great, and Perreault just won the Calder.

As long as the trades are not individually abysmally horrendous, I won't stop them. People have their own logic for their moves, and I've allowed more lopsided trades than that with no disputes.

I guess but it seems like you could get alot more for a number 1 dman and with Gaboriks speed and shooting/deking he is one of the best forwards in this game

Some people just can't use speed as effectively as size. Some people might prefer Dustin Brown to Marian Gaborik, and some prefer Grabner to Iginla. That's just a matter of playstyles. Each player holds a different value to each team. I might value Yandle more than I would value Chara because it all depends on my ability to effectively use his skillset, and how well his skillset matches or contrasts with the rest of my team.

In terms of what someone can get, well that's all a matter of negotiations. Some people like to have long, drawn out talks debating individual pieces. As one of those people, I've had trade talks that have lasted 3-4 days, just nitpicking over small details, like "well then I have to have a 5th round pick added" because I like to squeak out whatever value I can. On the other hand, there are a lot of people that just want to get close and make a deal done. Maybe he just didn't feel like dragging this out to get the most he could for it, and wanted to get a quick deal done and out of the way.

There's a lot more to these things than just "player X is better than player Y", and unless a trade is incredibly lopsided, there's no 100% method for knowing what "fair" value is.

Ya i guess. Also i didnt think Brodie Perreualt or Wellwood panned out into anything good, but of they do than its not that lopsided.

I don't know about Wellwood, but Brodie and Perreualt usually end up pretty good.

Sort of regret backing out of this league to stay in others--several of which are now dead or dying.

Put me back on the waiting list?

Didn't you once have Chicago in HF Elite?

Anyway. I dropped out of the other league because I got hit with a bunch of extra work that was going to prevent me from being on enough to handle all the leagues I was in. I stayed in the three that had progressed furthest--since those are generally tougher to replace. Since then, one of the leagues has folded, and another is very close to doing so.
