Yeah this seems like a fairly simple explanation to this issue, and by no means am I good at this game. Good defense will stop that. Because in reality you shouldn't be letting a player get into the slot unopposed. Besides, if that's all their doing, it should be relatively easy to predict what's coming as Truffle put it.
Now, let this be the end of this nasty little exchange. Zetts and I have made repeated posts about cutting down on the vitriol in this thread. Enough is enough. If you have issues with another player PM either Zetterberg or I. And if you think that someone is scoring glitch goals then record the shot and send it to one of us. We can't judge based on hearsay.
its not a strategy its an exploit, but i can play that game too just thought we were trying to push a real hockey atmosphere, and not do the same thing every time we came down the ice.
We are trying to push a real hockey atmosphere. In a real hockey atmosphere if you let someone get to the slot unopposed, he is going to burn you for most of the game. It's not an exploit unless you also want me to forbid people from using one-timers or rebounds.

Theres no rule against position locking my self as goalie is there? seeing as all every body wants to do is rush into the slot and shoot ill play my goalie.
You've been in this league a total of one night and you played me last night and lost, should I assume you've grouped me in with "everybody" here already just cause I beat you?
what happened to people just saying good game anymore? I beat someone else last night 5-1 both our teams had like 18 shots on net and all the guy could say to me was "****ing Brodeur"
I like this league, it's honestly the best run of the 4 I am in, just hate to see things turn into *****fests
learn how to take a loss and move on
with all that said, I do agree that people who try and abuse exploits in the game should just try and mix it all up, it just makes the game more fun, win or lose

I have 8 games. I'm pretty sure that the deadline isn't yet. I believe the next sim will be a shortened one and also the deadline.

Waivers were turned off after another escapade of people being accidentally waived and subsequently claimed. It was too much of a bother to try to police.

I haven't tried, but I think it's pretty much impossible to save a replay in 30 seconds. Could be wrong tho.

The goals are accessible postgame. You don't need to use the manual instant replay, as highlights are saved for you on the right side of the screen, and can be scrolled through with the triggers and the right stick.

Ahhh yes that's true, forgot about that. I've wanted to make a hilarious highlight reel of some guys' "amazing goal scoring prowess" ie a minute long clip of them scoring the exact same goal the exact same way all game. I think it would be funny.
