It's pretty saddening to me that I've had to sim more than half the games I've tried to play. Please play me today, all you Phoenix opponents.

I've got you twice next period. Don't worry, you'll play me.

I have to come up with a plan for the playoffs. Teams shouldn't be punished because the other team isn't around to play.

I've won more games than I've lost while playing actual people, or at least I've gotten points. I was 6th in the West after the periods we had played (half to more than half I still had to sim, mind you.) After our long sim I ended up in 13th place. Ridiculous!

Punish the absent GMs by allowing me to take over their clubs for the playoffs. I need the practice!

I don't know. I like the simulating--though I had roughly the same winning percentage as the CPU.

It is, after all, about building a team as well as playing the game, right? The sim accounts for that in a way that playing all the games in person doesn't.

(I do wish the injuries would be tuned down a bit, though)

Anaheim will be around this evening. I apologize for sporadic availability, I've been trying to allot designated times to play my games. Also I kind of didn't realize we were playing games this period as I thought we were in sim mode, and that's my bad.

Like HC said, just started a job and apparently attorneys don't get to work a 9-5, so it's been kind of hectic and daytime is obviously shot. If anyone messages me on here I'll reply, I unfortunately don't get to sit on my 360 anymore all day (which I was legitimately doing before), so I'll either post in here when I'm available or message me and we'll plan something out in the future.

I will be on between 7:30-10 for sure. I have another league I have games in as well but I'm going to get to all of this league's games tonight first. Whoever signs on first, just PM the other on here and we'll meet up.

I think it should count, I mean I am coaching the players as to what to do. Look at the Florida Panthers! Scrub players mostly but they played well under their coach's guidance!

You're not simply coaching them, though. You can do that by setting the AI up.

You're actually playing as the players. So, for the exceptionally skilled players, it isn't like Florida being coached well, it's more like replacing Stephen Weiss with Sidney Crosby.

Have you seen my team? I need to get a prize for winning games with the Coyotes. They are awful.

I think you and i (Islanders) are in about the same boat, no?

The difference is, you're considerably better at this game than I am.

EDIT:

What we should have done is this: have a two-week long try-out period, and create a system to rank the 30 players from best-to-worst, then assign the teams on that basis--let the worst players pick the best teams, etc.

I'm joking, mostly, but in hindsight, I probably should have been more patient. I jumped at the Islanders when they opened up, only to see a half-dozen better teams come open afterward.

I sent out a PM to all GM's.

And hey, i'm the Flyers. The sim didn't help me any, thanks to Bryzgalov.

Other than having a fast team, there isn't that much of a difference between players. There are a handful of superstars but just about everybody else is 80-85 in the relevant attributes.

Just about... except for 3/4 of my offense. I think I have 4 guys above 80. Doan, Vermette, Vrbata and Korpikosk, and they're all in the 81-82 range.

Woohoo tied for first place with Pit and Vancouver. Thank you btw Columbus for setting it so your computer could be played. I couldn't be on today or yesterday during the "day" at all. I didn't get home from work until 330 last night

For what it's worth told me he will not be around today or tomorrow. I also believe his CPU is NOT set-up.

I asked him if he could get the cpu turned on...
