He is cruising at a 1.3 pts/game. the others 1 pt/game.
Nice, I guess he's starting to hit his stride now. It's a mere formality that he'll be sporting the gold dome at this point.

Found highlights already.

Problem is, the guy with the golden helmet seemed to have at least 2 or 3 points in the game too.

The spin around shot off the post was a beauty, got an assist on that play. He managed 1-2-3 today, now 16pts in 11 games. Seven pts in 3 straight wins.

Nice little player.

A 5-1 victory distributes 15 points !!

Anyway, it is just a question of games until Hans wears the yellow hellmet !

The guy is awesome ... with or without golden helmet
while in the goal he scores, the goalie and the defence don't look at best ... he made other moves that weren't that successfull but were BEAUTIFULL.

Hans and Bern lost 2-5 against leader Geneva last night. Tavares didn't get any points, was a -2 and got 2 minutes for high sticking.

Bern is a bit strange of a team recently; overall they are among the best manned teams in the league, one night they fulfill their potential but on another night nothing goes. That's why they are not where they could or should be in the standings.
I didn't watch the game yesterday, but from the highlights (in Swiss TV, not those below) Bern seemed to be the more active team, and the shot statistics underline that as Bern outshot Geneva 40:24. This is somehow typical for Bern this season.

Don't you all miss watching Isles game and every night just being like, "My god how good is Tavares?"

Because I sure do

Watched the highlights - the Zug goalie stunk it up. That second goal was brutal - un-screened 55-foot shot right between the legs . . . who is wearing the gold helmet and is he available to play JT's right wing?

his name is Byron Ritchie...i guess he would love to play in the NHL again! But he is already 35...so i think you guys better wait for Nino to be ready for first line minutes :-)

I miss it big time, the guy is our best homegrown stud since Ziggy Palffy. Tavares' talent and desire are a joy to watch every game. Even getting to watch these snippets of Tavares highlights are a joy to watch.

Zug had pretty bad luck with goaltending this season, both of their regular goaltenders were injured so they had to take others on loan from rival teams.

The golden helmet is JT's wing right now, hoever, it should be only a matter of time until he'll lose it to his center. What's kinda strange is (i only watch the highlights as im supporting another team) that JT and even Streit sometimes alow too much goals against them.

I heard on XM Radio that the Swiss A league is about to go on break. Apparently they have a few scheduled breaks during the year when the league shuts down.

The 26th best player 25 or younger plays again on November 16th

Ummm, the Isles don't have a great track record with mountain climbing. I forget the name, but an Isles prospect years ago died falling off a mountain!

Hans better stick to the army knife factory and chocolates.

duncan macpherson...he disappeared on a mountain. they found his body like 15 yrs later.

'Almost 14 years after MacPherson disappeared, an employee of the Stubai Glacier Resort discovered a glove sticking out of the ice of the melting Schaufelferner Glacier (one of the Stubai Glaciers' arms), in the middle of the ski run, where MacPherson's body had lain frozen"

And I blame myself for this. I remember draft day 1984, a 22 year old scott99 uttered these words to his dad, Duncan ****ing McPherson ? He will never play a game in the NHL. Unfortunately I was right, what a terrible draft choice, but an even more terrible tragedy for Duncan and his family.

Live stream of tonights European Trophy game between Bern and Liberec (don't know if it works in NA):
http://www.internettv.ch/sport/ssf-live

Those games are more like exhibition games, but you might enjoy it nontheless... Tavares just scored his first point (assist on the 2nd goal).

thanks for the link. It works here in Canada.

I find it funny that Strome is setting up B.Ritchie for a bunch of goals in the OHL while Tavares and B.Ritchie are lighting-it-up in Switzerland. Maybe it's not haha-funny but there's a lockout and I'm bored as @@$#!

Tavares with a sweet pass on the second Bern goal. Finished with a sweet goal and two assists so far - 4-2Win for Bern.
His goal was a sweet spin-around top-corner from the slot.

He really is a joy to watch, he's killing penalties and making some nice plays, looks to be having fun on the ice too. It's pretty good hockey, good pace, not very physical but Tavares' speed, stickhandling and passing are top-notch, seems even quicker than last season (tough to gauge against inferior competition and on the big ice)

Both JT and Streit playing rec-level a bit, making too many passes, too many "through-the-legs" plays but it is what it is - staying in shape and getting some good ice time.
