Yep, only 200 bucks to follow one team with 1980's high-school level production values. It's crazy how bad it is considering how expensive it is. At least the audio dropping out and distorting, lag, etc. is offset by being able to listen during breaks.

Bennett tries to get cute carrying the puck up ice on the powerplay and turns it over.

Mormina looks rough playing against the improved AHL talent pool.

Dumb penalty by Bennett. Having a bad first period.

Yeah, it's absolutely horrendous if you're paying for it. As a freeloader, I'm not too upset with it, though.

Yeah, I'm all for veteran presence, but Strait and Reese provide that and are a lot better right now. Seems a bit of an injustice to scratch Samuelsson and Grant just so he can play.

The sad thing, WBS' arena feed is one of the best. There are other teams that are far worse.

Who would have thought a pro sport would be so horrifically unprepared for the potential lockout?

Warren Peters 2-1 WBS

edit: Puck deep in the defensive zone? Who cares? Show me a picture of Warren Peters staring blankly while a clipart jack-o-lantern spins beside him.

Peters scored on a Mormina rebound that was deflected on the way in by Holzapfel. If Holzapfel didn't touch it (not sure if he did), Morrow would get secondary assist.

Dumoulin with a couple of nice keep-ins that shift. Already said before but I'm pleasantly surprised with his offensive instincts so far. Seems to have a good idea of when to pinch and when to get back.

Ugh, wrist shot from the blue-line gets past Thiessen.

Didn't look like it, looks like it came off the defenders skates. Thiessen appears to be going to Halloween as a sieve.

Holzapfel gets credit for the deflection. He's killing Morrow's prospect rep.

For someone who was brought in to be an AHL veteran, Ferrerio seems to be struggling. Him and Dupuis haven't been what they were brought in to be.

He does seem to have that Matt Cooke quality to him. I'd love it if he could develop to be as good as Cooke.

Also I haven't noticed Bennett at all recently.

Is it me, or do the WBS lines get shuffled a ridiculously absurd amount?

3-2 WBS

Pens did a nifty job of staying on-side, Thompson was carrying the puck and had enough space to let off a hard shot that lead to a big rebound and Tangradi was able to finish.

The more I watch of Tangradi, the more I'm annoyed by how he's been handled the parent club. There's no way he's not a better player than some of the stiffs they ran out there the last 2 seasons. DB's got to bite the bullet and put him in a position to succeed, i.e. not playing on the 4th line. If there is a season this year, he should be seriously considered as one of the top-6 wing options.

I thought about getting tickets to this game somewhere between the blue lines in the lower level, but their ahl website said no tickets were available in those sections....Um really? crowd looks sporadic at best

Gibbons received a pass at the goal-line from Ferriero and walked in practically untouched and scored. Bennett with the secondary assist.

Thiessen playing pretty solid right now.

I say that and Rochester just scored late in the 3rd to make it 4-3.

Thiessen not playing that solid right now. Now 4-4 after 2 goals in about 30 seconds, both with the goalie pulled.

You're joking. 4-2 going into the final 90 seconds. Going to OT. Can't buy a win in regulation it seems.

Doesn't help when our players fall down mid ice when no one is around them.

Heh.
Looked like Tangradi got elbowed or interfered with at the very least at center ice there.
