I agree but if that's what it would take to get a good winger, Niskanen can easily be replaced by Despres or Dumoulin.

Niskanen did well but he'll soon be getting pushed by Morrow and Despres I would think.

No Joe Morrow again. I hope he's on his deathbed or something.

OMG, they canīt score. That offense really sucks. Ferriero, Trevor Smith arenīt supposed to produce something?

Referee pretty much gifted the second goal to Hershey, after an imaginary call on Dupuis on a shorthanded break opportunity, leading to a 5 on 3. It doesn't get much uglier than that.

I'm pretty used to listening to AHL on radio, so I'm simply tuned into audio for this game.

Yeah, no streams here also for tonight. I am just sick of the fact they didnīt score a single goal for 5 periods in a row, all at home ice. Good defense, goaltending but terrible creativity in offensive zone (also based on the previous matches). I am absolutely disappointed in veteran players, as well as in Bennett and some others. I expected much more, I canīt help myself... Pretty much unwatchable hockey, you need a lot of patience there at least... Reminds me those times from 2010/2011 without our stars and with Letestu in 1st line. Refs sucking is the other story as well...

Holtby in net for the opposition though, give him some credit, it was never going to be easy.. still 20 minutes of hockey to be played.

Is there a reason why Morrow and Uher are scratched again?

They came close to tying it up, but really bad luck with calls going against them at crucial times today.

Keven Veilleux scored his first goal of the season. Wheeling lost to Toledo 5-2.

Holtby was great, Hershey's defense played some crucial situations very well, the Penguins got some bad bounces and bad calls. They actually looked alright for the most part, though their powerplay really seems to be struggling. They either can't control the puck or they just don't get it on net.

John Hynes must follow the Bylsma guide to playing rookies and other unexperienced players.

The veterans really need to step it up a notch and lead by example.

Ferriero: have scored almost at PPG pace all the previous years. now has 0 goals and 6 assists.

Smith: had 69 points in 64 games last year. Now has 3 points in 11 games.....

Dupuis: is scoring around his normal pace

Peters: has never produced much so i dont have high hopes for him breaking out offensively.

At least Ferriero and Smith NEEDS to produce more. We cant expect Bennett to step in and carry the offense (even tho i know all of us wish for it)
