Jagr, not remotely close. Gotta give Forsberg props for some plays/goals in that video though (goal against Calgary was sick).

Jagr is the third best forward of all time, imo.

Forsberg was very good and very spectacular (could be as good for highlight real like that).

But Jagr is in another category, not just the best of a period of time, like Forsberg was after Jagr dominance, but in all-time great, right there with Lafleur (and above for regular season), 5 art-ross, 4 strait with one playing less than 70 games, with pretty normal team support for some of them.

Alright, maybe I should have said within the past 30 years, as before then it's really hard to make an accurate comparison. I'd still take a prime Jagr over all of them, simply because he's closer to the style of hockey played now.

While this is not true, it is pretty clear that Jagr was better than Forsberg. Forsberg was in the same realm as Sakic and Sakic outplayed him by being healthy. Now Jagr outplayed Forsberg with health and actually being clearly better offensive talent.

I wouldn't go 3rd best, but I'd argue Jagr is a top 10 forward all time.

Forsberg...not so high.

On HF he'd probably be voted as a top 20 forward of all-time. That's got to count for something, right?

Yeah as far as forward rankings go I'd go with Gretzky, Lemieux, Howe in whatever order you feel (I'd go that order), then Beliveau, Hull, Richard in some order (again I'd go that order), then Mikita, Clarke, Jagr, Lafleur, Morenz, Esposito (that order). But like I said, I can see those guys going in any order within their given groups.

For a Stanley Cup run, I would take the player that is much superior. And there's no doubt that it's Jagr.

How many SC has Forsberg won as #1 on his team? I make it easy: none.
First he was in #3-5 range and during his second he didnt play in final. Whenever was Forsberg supposed to lead his team to the heights, he failed.

Not as Jagr did this, just this is terrible argument.

Jagr easily. Forsberg is hailed here as one of the best players of all time and even Sakic was better. While Jagr actually is a top 5 forward of all time. Forsberg is the most overhyped player i have ever seen play.(Datsyuk is close)

jagr was an offensive zone floater, forsberg was a two-way warrior, pretty obvious they weren't of the same style but if i wanted to win i would easily take forsberg.

You are overhyping Jagr too.

He is better than any of Lemieux, Gretzky, Howe, Hull, Richard?
