Alrighty, I've updated the XBOX sim schedule once again. This SHOULD be the last set of changes made. I've made it so the offseason is a bit shorter, and allowed for more games to be played throughout the season. Instead of doing multiple sims in one night, I've set a couple one day sim periods. I found most games were getting played the night of the sim, so this should work anyways. I don't have any trips back to Edmonton until Christmas as far as I know, so I should consistently be doing the sims right at 9 each of these dates.

I must say, waiting until Friday until free agency is kinda long. We'll have had more days between the draft and July 1 than the NHL.

Yeah, but people won't quit being a GM because they didn't have enough time to sign their players before then.. Haha. :-P The reason I have it the way it is is so people can get their offers in for a couple sims, then the week before the season starts any trading or roster finalization can be done. We'll be playing games next Friday don't worry! I just want this offseason to go fairly smoothly then I will figure out how to speed up next one.
Edit : the one change I may make is to make the 2nd ufa sim Saturday then, and plow through the big chunk Sunday morning. Then I could sim Tuesday Thursday and season would start on the 8th. Thoughts?
SUPER EXTRA EDIT: As much as waiting sucks, having to plan my time around sitting and doing these sims and waiting for them sucks just as much or more (because I get to do both). I've made a slight change, but I'm now leaving the schedule as is. I made the schedule in part because it would mean less work for me, but it's creating more.
I am kicking NJ, DET, MTL, STL, NSH, VAN, CAR, CBJ, FLA, NYI, ANA temporarily so they can sign their prospects and players to keep teams fair instead of them being stripped in the FA phase. If any of those teams would like to be in the next season, just send a join request and I'll accept it. Thanks. Also, next sim will be 10pm. Mtn tonight and it is the last sim before FA.
