Ottawa @ Montreal Game thread - Discuss, predict the score!

Ottawa @ Montreal Saturday, Sept. 20 7h00 pm

You can listen it on CJAD, http://www.cjad.com

Theodore/Fichaud will probably be the goaltenders.

I predict a 3-3 tie.

Discuss!

Ottawa's lineup for tonight's game against Buffalo is pretty weak, as they seem to be playing a lot of their young players and resting most of their big guns. We can assume that we will see the remaining players and most of the top dogs on Saturday (which is good).

http://www.ottawasenators.com/stats/...iew/pv0919.aro

The Habs will be playing Team "A" whose roster in on this link. It includes 9 forwards, 6 D and three goalies (lots of ice time for Koivu, Ward and the forwards!!).

According to the canadiens.com, it's the team A that will be against Ottawa:

Archer, Andrew (D)
Balej, Jozef (AD)
Brisebois, Patrice (D)
Bulis, Jan (C)
Carpentier, Benjamin (AG)
Dackell, Andreas (AD)
Dwyer, Gordie (AG)
Fichaud, Éric (G)
Koivu, Saku (C)
Markov, Andrei (D)
Michaud, Olivier (G)
Perezhogin, Alexander (AD)
Perreault, Yanic (C)
Rivet, Craig (D)
Souray, Sheldon (D)
Théodore, José (G)
Traverse, Patrick (D)
Ward, Jason (AD)

It isn't a complet lineup, then perhaps that some other players will be added, such Higgins and Ryder...

Perezhogin thrown to the wolves! Hopefully they don't play him too much. It will be extremely interesting to see how Archer handles himself too.

9 forwards for a 60 minute game is an average of 20 minutes a game per forward. That's a lot, so I would be surprised if they didn't add a player or two to fill the roster up a bit.

I'm thinking they are going to keep putting him in to bring his confidence back up... they're just pre-season games...
