Family Guy Season 11

Saw the season premiere yesterday and I actually enjoyed it. I thought for all the staleness of Family Guy in recent, this one was pretty funny.

The next two episodes are on the Griffins becoming a Nielsen family and rigging the ratings, and Carter holding out for more money on his cure for cancer. I also saw some future episode descriptions and they seem funny, such as Brian getting ripped by ex's on Valentine's Day, Quagmire marrying a hooker, and Peter buying a farm and starting a meth lab.

Didn't care for the premiere. Don't like the descriptions for the upcoming episodes. Hopefully I'm wrong about them.

This was literally an episode of ALF.

If you guys keep saying it's better, I might have to figure out a way to record it... It has been bumped from being recorded due to SNF so far.

Family Guy has always been funny, only on the internet do you talk to people and get nothing but negativity.

Family Guy is very hit or miss for me, I didn't enjoy the episode, but I have no problem watching the "misses" because of the chance they deliver a "hit".

I enjoyed the episode. Peter saying "I found this rock I like" as the family was pulling him and the Fishmans back to safety was hilarious.

I enjoyed it. Honestly I thought it was better than a good majority of last season's episodes, which makes me feel confident about the upcoming eps.

Stewie saying "Remind me why we ate a kid before we ate the dog" made me lol.

I liked the premier as well. Probably the best episode in the last 3 seasons.

I don't find there's a big difference between episodes now and 5 years ago. I think people just get tired of the same type of humor year after year, but don't say the new episodes suck.

The first episode was good, they're always pushing the limit with the types of jokes and stupid situations they get in. If they made an episode in their first season about eating a kid they would have been knocked off the air right away.

I'm pretty surprised no one mentioned this. Do you guys know why you liked it? I'll tell you why...

There was ONLY ONE cut-away joke. Only one. And it was barely a cut away. It was when Stewie was thinking "warm thoughts" and he was in Vegas, and even then it's what was going on in his head at that moment.

Other than that, no cut away jokes. It followed one plot through out the entire episode.

I think that's pretty much the first time they've ever done that.

I was curious why they decided to ascend Everest without a sherpa.

There was the one w/ Brian and Stewie in the bank vault. No cutaways.

Lot of cameos in this episode, including Mark Burnett and Michael Clarke Duncan. RIP
