He sure is, can't blame his effort but he does make some bonehead decisions and has taken some stupid penalties. But what he says is sadly true, and the players that work the hardest each game often gets benched because of Frölunda's idiot coach Johansson.

I guess, but other SEL teams don't feel comfortable bringing in NHLers.

Contract is up on December 8, btw.

MD moved to LW for todays game at Timra (11 AM Mountain). Linesmates are Brunnstrom and former Bruin P.J. Axelsson.

Wow, who's playing center? From what I remember from Axelsson, he's a winger and so is Brunnstrom.

I don't know if he is or isn't, but he definitely would help the Monsters a lot, seeing as we lack a top 6 punch with the play of Thomas, VDG, and others.

Isn't lockout rules identical to waiver rules?

All of the Oilers folk have played less than 160 NHL games, therefore they can be sent down without waiver eligibility. There's other rules, but both MD and ROR played over 160 games after signing as 18 year olds, therefore they are not exempt.

Thats because you people are stealing all the offensively gifted players from Sweden, while leaving the good defensive ones as they are not flashy enough for your scouts.

Axelsson was converted to center prior to last season.

The line adjustments didn't turn out too well. Duchene only got 13:40 of ice time, firing two shots. He's been off the #1 PP unit for 4-5 games now.

I did try watching some when the lockout started. It's not that boring but yeah it's weird. The game is far too tactical in a way. The passes can be pretty but dammit show some more intensity. Their PP's are very interesting though, I noticed they use one man on the point a lot more often maybe due to big ice so it's more entertaining to watch them move the puck down low.

As for taking Duchene off the PP....

Also it's up to the SEL to ensure the product is entertaining. I criticize the NHL for how their GPG keep going down and they haven't done a thing about it but the SEL seems even worst. Hockey is not a "build it and they will come" you have to tweak the game to make it entertaining and win over more fans.

Duchene's primadonna comments haven't made him any friends there.
