Columbus Blue Jackets have several prospects to watch in 2012-13

The Columbus Blue Jackets are stacked with defensive talent lurking in their system. Ryan Murray leads the pack of NHL-ready defenders, but the positional depth is uncanny. From puck-moving defensemen to stay-at-home guys, Columbus’ blue line is going to be set for years to come.

Behind their capable defenders sit four goalies with a ton of upside. Ranging from North America to Europe, the Blue Jackets have goalies that excel playing different styles between the pipes. Tim Erixon should make the Columbus Blue Jackets roster when the NHL season gets underway.
I almost stopped reading after seeing that line. Unless he abruptly becomes a AHL breakout superstar, he doesn't have any particular spot ahead of Moore or Savard... and we're still able to recall Murray once the season starts.

Replace "should" with "has a good chance to", though, and the rest of the article seems fine to me.

I just take such obsessive-compuslve issue with such statements because inevitably if they prove inaccurate, it's not remembered as "the article writer misjudged" or "the guy disappointed us all", but rather as "Columbus management screwed up, fire everybody". Each and every time.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!

I would probably go more with "excellent chance", but your point is well received.
