Offense has a whole was solid. Thought Miller made a few mistakes but he was our best forward. It's early in the season and he looked better tonight, but I'm really disappointed in a player as talented as Thomas having such a difficult transition to the pros. He's not a prototypical smallish forward either, he's ****ing fast and has a stocky build. Kreider was so-so, he didn't get a lot of ice time and I've stressed hundreds of times that playing him with guys like Yogan, who also thrive in a support role, isn't the right environment. Jean was quiet, as were Bourque and Hrivik. Overall nobody stood out as bad though. When guys like Thomas, Yogan, Miller and Kreider get more comfortable, and Bourque and Hrivik hit their stride, the Whale will have a good offense.
Can't comment on individual defensemen, because quite frankly I can't tell them apart. They all skate well and move the puck smoothly, but make questionable decisions on the regular (Blake Parlett is a very dumb player). However they did good tonight, so hats off.
Who said that the person selling him the bed wasn't a salesperson? Not everyone buys everything through the internet.

Yeah... I should have specified. My buddy is a salesman for sleepys... no weird craigslist transaction.
Was great to get to my first game of the season tonight. I love the group of forwards. Second period was more boring than the first, where the Whale forwards were jumping on every loose puck. Really impressive. They stayed disciplined most of the game, which was nice. Defense needs some work. Not worried one bit about the offense. And it was encouraging as heck to see Talbot play the way he did.
