Looks like people will give Jaime a resounding chance now. Amazing episode.

Also loved seeing our dear Ramsay.

I've been Team Jaime for a long time, pretty much since Ned first arrived at the Throne Room. As a non-reader, I still can't get a handle on that ending.

Spoil:
If people hated him before, his character will basically transform on this point on. If people noticed, his sword hand was cut off.

That is insult to injury.

NHL 14 was announced today for release on Sept. 10th. Here are some of the features:

Quote:
NHL® Collision Physics – Developed from the same core technology that powers EA SPORTS FIFA’s critically-acclaimed Player Impact Engine, NHL® Collision Physics introduces bigger, more thrilling hits, and truer-to-life collisions. A new left-stick control scheme makes delivering a game-changing hit simpler and more rewarding than ever.

Enforcer Engine – There is a code in hockey, when it's broken you have to respond. A first for the NHL franchise, Fight Night technology delivers a new 3rd person experience, physics-based punch targeting and player size differentiation to every fight, creating the most authentic and electrifying experience yet.

One-Touch Dekes – Experience what it feels like to be a superstar through a new, more responsive deking system controlled only with the left stick and one-button. From beginner to advanced gamers, the system allows for quicker reactive dekes and intuitive combination dekes, creating more moves than ever before.

True Performance Skating – Built on the breakthrough innovation that introduced physics-based skating and over 1,000 new skating animations to the EA SPORTS NHL franchise. The second year of the True Performance Skating features improved acceleration, explosive first-strides, quicker pivots and enhanced lateral skating, resulting in greater player responsiveness and unprecedented control.

Live the Life – The new incarnation of the Be a Pro Career Mode, now you can truly Live the Life of an NHL player. On or off the ice, every decision you make shapes your legacy as an athlete. Interact with teammates outside of the rink. Take part in media interviews. Each choice you make will affect your relationship with fans, teammates and management, influencing your skills and progression.

EA SPORTS NHL Online Seasons – NHL 14 adds the best-in-class promotion and relegation system in the sports category to the Hockey Ultimate Team & EA SPORTS Hockey League modes. Win games and advance to the next division to face tougher competition, fall short and see your team bumped down. Teams will be able to track their progress across multiple seasons.
The Live the Life feature might actually entice me to to pre-order this. I haven't paid full price for a new release NHL game since '06.

We need to start a habit of marking our spoilers... example:

Game of Thrones Episode 3 Spoilers:
Spoil:
blah blah

or

A Song of Ice and Fire 4th Book Spoilers
Spoil:
blah blah

I really don't want to read anything about the GoT/ASoIaF books, even vague things. That way it's not like walking through a minefield coming into this thread.

Another great episode of GoT

Spoil:
I never thought I'd actually feel for the Kingslayer, but man I feel for the guy. Same with Theon too. Guy finally admits his mistakes, seems to be getting to some sort of redemption, but we find he is still getting totally mind-****ed. Also Varyes is a ****ing boss.

Got into the fourth or so episode of the third season of Walking Dead. Am I alone in thinking that the third season takes the series to another level quality-wise?

Season 3 builds and builds only to a huge letdown season finale (unless you hate the person who dies with a unnatural passion like i did)

I think it started as a huge improvement over season 2, then to me it hits like a wall and sinks back down before it finally trips over itself completely. I still think the pilot was the best thing this show has put out still. My opinion anyway.

Season 2 had some really good moments. Season 3 like you said just fell on it's face, I'm still pissed about the second half. "Clear" was a really good episode.

That was actually an excellent episode, one of the best in a long while. Most likely because of its stand alone nature.

Season 2 did have its moments I agree, but overall I still found it to be rather poor. 2nd half of Season 3 left such a poor taste in my mouth that I am really not interested at all in Season 4 right now.

Yeah that 2nd half really pissed a lot of people off lol. They need to stick with the same writers and directors and stop changing it up, it really messes with the flow and direction of the show. The guy who wrote "Clear" and all my favorite ones from season 2 is supposed to take over in season 4.
