He played only a couple of games for the Oilers (in 1988) so no surprise he slipped under your radar. He has the distinction of being the last Oiler's goaile to wear a Friday-the-13th mask. That is why I was wondering about the pics

Dude, I'm impressed that you remember a goalie that appeared in 3 regular season games as an Oiler and never even made a start. Is this dude your uncle, or you or something?
I played in a charity tournament a couple years ago and every team got to draft a former NHL player....our team didn't have a goalie so we picked Warren! Man was he brutal lol
After the game he tried getting everyone to buy prints of him haha. Decent guy, but prior to this I had never heard of him
Here's a video of him relieving Murray Bannerman (7:30 mark) of Chicago in Game 1 of the 1985 Campbell Conference Finals. Oilers were already up 7-1 at the start of the 3rd period; could Skorodenski look any better? Well...
The market for backups must have been drier than the Sahara desert or Glen Sather must have had his memory erased of that one period if he was desperate enough to sign him for three games in 1988.

Looks like he actually didn't do too badly that year - it looks like it would have been his career year - in 27 games, he went 11-9-3 with a .903 save percentage on a Blackhawks team that went 38-35-7 - so, it doesn't look like it was a stellar team making him look better than he was. That said, as a whole, his career looks much less than stellar.
Wow. I consider myself an 80s Oilers buff and I totally forgot he was ever an Oiler.
Only ever remember us destroying Bannerman and him before Belfour arrived and started killing us.
I have an interest in the old school masks and Skoro wore an impressive skull design much like Gary Bromley (that video of Skoro above features his plain-vanilla mask). I have seen pics of this mask. I believe, during one of his cameo appearances with Edmonton, he wore a blue-orange-white face mask (like Grant Fuhr circa 1985) as well and that was the one I was interested in finding a photo of

Ouch.
Those goals are hella week.
I know this was before the days of real stellar goaltending form, but damn, I'd say your average 10 yearold has better form than Skoro.
