After starting the season in last place the St. Louis GM has dropped out of the league without mentioning it.. shocker!
Coming on to say it now
Sorry I had to drop out, was getting busy. I've only played about 5 of my teams games so I wasn't really active. And if you were insulting me with the last place comment, it's because the computer was playing the games. lol.
Ok cool send a join request and I'll give you a shot. No offense to the former St. Louis GM just hate when people drop out and don't give any notice.
Simming now.. 11 teams failed to play at least one of their games this schedule period, realize you may not be able to play all the time but if this continues I'll have to look into finding more active replacements.
About halfway through the season. Los Angeles is holding on by a thread to any shot at making the postseason..
Just to pipe in. I personally think that activity checks should be conducted on a bi-weekly basis. While I'm sure this may be annoying to some, I think it is very useful, as there aren't too many GM's who are active in this thread, so we don't have the benefit of knowing whether or not some guys are going to remain active. As an example (that's right St. Louis, I'm going to make an example out of you ) wasn't very active for the past couple of weeks as a result of being too busy to remain active.
Well I'm going to see who all plays games in this block and if any of the 11 GM's who were not active in the last block fail to play any games this block, I will attempt to get in contact with them and find out the reason behind their inactivity. I will monitor everything as much as I can and try to make sure that there are no inactive GM's.. basically I'm just going to track who plays their games and at any point someone misses 2 blocks in a row without explanation, I will get in contact with them and warn them against inactivity or if its a continued problem remove them from the league. Awesome group of GM's in this league though so hopefully that shines through come playoff time!
I've been keeping track of all the teams that have been playing games over the last couple schedule periods.. I'm at work right now but I got it all written down at home, I believe there are 8 GM's I plan on contacting.
In what is sure to be a controversial decision I'm allowing nuckfan4life into the league as new GM of the Colorado Avalanche. Now some of you from the western superleague are aware that he was kicked out due to Ryan Miller being placed on waivers in what was ruled as a act to stack his cousins team. I spent some time in a xbox live party with both of them and can assure you that they are 2 seperate people and have no intentions of trying to pull off anything shady. The New York Islanders GM will be creating a new hfboards account as he shares his current account with his cousin. The Islanders and Avalanche will not be permitted to make any trades until otherwise noted. nucksfan4life has been wanting into this league for a long time and after thinking it over I've decided to give him a shot with the before-mentioned conditions with the belief that he can be a active, valuable member to this league.
Detroit (virtually untouched)
Philadelphia (virtually untouched)
