Feet are always soaking wet - defective skate?

I have had the Reebok 9K pumps for about a year and a half now, and so far they have been nothing but problematic. I've had a blade snap in half, the heel protectors on both skates started tearing soon after I bought them(a common Reebok problem I think), and I had a lot of problems breaking them in.

My feet have always been a little wet after a game, but the past 2 months or so have been dramatically worse. I can't even make it through the first period without my feet being soaking wet and freezing cold.

Is this a design flaw, or is it normal? I even purchased a proper pair of skate socks which has helped a bit, but not much. I'd hate to have to buy another pair of skates after spending $400 not too long ago.

I should have never replaced my old CCM Tacks...

Has this happened before? Do your feet normally sweat a lot?

Check for the breakdown of the liners and footbed first I suppose. You could try asking your shop to drill you some drainage holes in the outsole.

Did you change your shin guards, socks, or skate socks at all?
