Rockford plays in Chicago next Saturday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 3:00pm. They will not be back in Chicago for a Friday or Saturday game at all the rest of year and will not be back on a Sunday until spring. I was thinking we should meet up for the game next Saturday if there is a big enough group interested.
I do find myself in your area more often than mind, on weekends at least... Although I'm stuck in midtown and the Red Brick Brewery all weekend for a hippie weekend. Going to suck, they're all anti-sport d-bags. Gotta figure out a way to sneak out Friday evening for the games, and Saturday night has some great college football games.
For us to all go and sit together, we should have 6 or more IMO. Otherwise, yeah, may as well go with friends if at all.
Yeah, if I go, I'll shoot you a PM, and I can day hello to you there. Personally, I just think that'd be really odd to go to a game with a bunch of internet people. Maybe if we all met up before and had fun, then it would be a good idea. Not knowing who the hell all of you are is just weird. It could end up being a ****ing blast, but it could also end up making you want to leave after the first twenty minutes.
The most logical meet-up is prospect camp. I said it before, and I'll say it again. Everyone can afford to go to it. It's also in Chicago.
You've got to dive into things, we talk on here all the time. It almost seems weird not to ever meet and the circumstance of not having hockey creates a good time to do it. I've never done this before but I've heard of other people who had random internet people to their house for parties and it worked fine. I've met some of you briefly when I sold tickets, seemed like normal people to me.
