Giguere's mother passes away
I know he didnt play with us too long (back to back shutouts his first 2 games) but figured I'd pass the sad news. Saw it on yahoo under player notes. As a former Mooseheads, I've always followed him closely and cheered him.

I can't even imagine the thought of losing mother. Don't want to. Giguere has had it pretty rough.

I feel terrible for him.

I remember when his father died, Giguere's play dropped off big time. He was a legit #1 goalie before that, then his father passed away and he had a string of bad games; eventually Jonas Hiller outplayed him and took over.

Nothing but a class act.
