Thanks for this. I've never seen him play, so I'll definitely tune in.

Didier started out playing as the 7th D last year but worked his way up to a top 4 pairing when injuries hit. He's got a big frame, moves well and plays a solid physical game. didn't show much offensively but was good on the PK and in his own end.

Thank you. Sounds like a D-man any team can use if properly developed.

Hopefully now that he's in his 2nd year and more comfortable he'll show a little more on the offensive side but there's a lot to like as he looks huge out there and was only 18 at the time, and he can throw some big hits as he's mobile and uses his size well.

Didier makes me think of another NCAA prospect who I thought, and was surely wrong, would have been a good NHL'er in Will Weber. Weber looked awfully huge and pretty stable defensively. Though, Didier does seem to be a better skater than him and have a better hockey sense.

I can't say I have paid much attention to Weber but I seem to recall him playing well for Miami Ohio. I should see a good bit of Didier again this year as DU is on tv a good bit and with the lockout perhaps more NCAA games will be shown.

That's why I'm interested to see what Didier can do over the next few years, he looks huge out there while still being very young so it wouldn't surprise me to see him add to that frame, but he moves well which can lead to some big time hits as he seems to enjoy throwing his weight around but doesn't go overboard taking himself out of position.
