His biggest issue...takes too many games off.

The hockey is good, not NHL caliber, but very watchable.

Help this team by putting some assets in the seats, most games are on weekends

About 2,000 fans, along with Mike Ricci and Wayne Thomas, were at last nights game, and saw a spirited comeback by the home team, and an overtime victory. The club has a winning record at home, they deserve some support.

Don't wait for the NHL

Drive the 35 miles and support the SF Bulls!
It is my goal to get out to more games. My car has been out of commission recently and with work I haven't been able to take public transportation to make it to the games on time. But I will be at the HP supporting tomorrow and will make sure to come to more games. Happy we have some hockey in the Bay in a capacity.

Sooo...it suddenly turns out neither I nor any of my friends can go to the Bulls game at HP tonight. If someone wants my two tickets send me a PM with your name and I can get them held under your name at will call, I think.

how's the atmosphere? Wish I was there.

I think it's nice for some of these ECHLers to experience a NHL-esque atmosphere for once

Late arriving crowd. Was about halfway through first before crowd really had "arrived". 12881 announced attendance.

Sharkie and Rawhide were hanging out all night.

Most of the promos were from Bulls sponsors, but the ice, boards and one of the intermission sponsors were Sharks.

Only one of the merchandise stands at the main (north/south) entrances were stocked, plus a few other tables. Not all concessions were open, and a smaller contingent of Blue Coats.

Still, lots of teal.

Game got exciting when Bulls came back (after scoring first) and made it a one goal game with about 7 minutes left, but couldn't get the equalizer.

Nice to see Nelson in net (Heemskerk was pulled after giving up 5).

Clowe got the biggest cheer during introductions (that he was a scratch) and big applause when he was on video (for "lunch with Bulls/Clowe" contest).

Ran into a few folks I knew around the concourse.

Tam sat in Clowe's stall. Clowe told him he had to score (he did - opened scoring in game).

Checked out the Bulls game last night at HP. Reminded me of high school hockey with fighting but less hitting.

A few really nice shots, but that was about it.

I left after the 2nd.

No NHL sucks.

Having been to a couple games at the Cow Palace so far, it really is a lot less fun to watch than the NHL (or I imagine the AHL)

There's a big drop in talent from AHL to ECHL. I think most NHL fans would find the AHL pretty entertaining. It's a little slower but as a whole, more physical. At least in my comparisons of the two.

Yea it's just no where near as organized. Just a bunch of guys doing their own thing most of the time.

Much better hockey players than I'll ever be that's for sure.

I enjoy watching AHL. It's definitely not NHL, but most of those guys are right there in terms of talent. The coaching is much better at AHL as well.

4,823, which is 9th in the league.

That average includes the "sellout" in San Jose...

Everyone is just going to have to be patient with Doherty. He was presumed to be a long term project...
The reason why Doherty looked better is because he was skating better. In my opinion at this point it really is all about the skating with Doherty
